Dak vs Goff

I’m not a Dak homer, I’m a Cowboys Homer, and guess what. Dak is the face of your Dallas Cowboys. All of you who do nothing but ridicule his every move, have crazy unrealistic expectations, and don’t recognize a true leader when you see one, better never ever ever ever be happy if he ever wins a super bowl. You will at that point need to turn in your Cowboys card.

This WHEN they win one with Dak as QB, some of these guys will look dumb looking for high fives after all the BS they spew all the time.

Ridiculous post. Goff only needed that last-play TD because he gave the ball to the Vikings on his previous possession in a hideously embarrassing strip-sack, which gave Minnesota the chance to go up. Did OP miss that play?

Goff help the Lions with 20 straight points. How come Cousins with Justin Jefferson can't score a single touchdown in the first half?

You know Goff is bad when the Rams give up two 1st-round draft picks to replace him with Stafford.

Ouch.

Crazy unrealistic expectation? If you are being paid 40 millions a year, I expect a NFCCG at the minimal. I expect you to be able to carry your team through injuries. Dak will never win a SB, because he is too inconsistent as a QB, and if we were to win one, it be like Wilson on the Seahawks where he was only a game-manager. Hell Jimmy G went to the SB, so it not out of the realm of possibility for Dak.

So Wilson is also not a good QB? Get out of here!!! Actually, I think I see a pattern with you. Take your ball and Go play with the little kids.

Jared Goff outplayed Kirk Cousins and led the Lions on a game winning drive without his #1 weapon and RB in DeAndre Swift. Goff was also without his pro-bowl center in Frank Ragnow. In fact, the Lions O-line has never been healthy together for the year. The moment Taylor Decker came back, Ragnow went out with a season ending injury.

This beg the question. Has Dak ever done what Goff did, under the most dired of situation? Has Dak ever won a game without Zeke while being the underdog? Has Dak ever won a game without a #1 or #2 receiver? Has Dak ever won a game when the Cowboys season was on the line? The answer is clearly no, because he is not capable of that.

Anthony Lynn is an awful coordinator and coach, and the Lions got their first tie and win with Dan Campbell calling the plays, and he awful himself. Goff won inspite of MCDC coaching, he carried his coach and saved his career. It's no surprise that the moment the Lions got Goff a starting receiver (#3) in Reynolds, Goff has looked like a different QB entirely. He looked like 2018 Goff, being clutch, and without McVay. And despite not having a starting reciever (prior to Reynold), Goff has gotten the Lions multiple game winning drives only for the defense to allow the other teams to get a walk-off win.

The Lions would go O-17 with Dak Prescott as their QB. Don't let Dak's stat fool you, this Cowboys team is literally carrying him. No one does less with more.

Now imagine if Goff had Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup
How does it feel. To be this uninformed

Wilson was an average QB when he went to the Superbowls. Wilson back then was not an elite QB like he is now. Learn to look at context instead of just stat. Legion of Boom carried him.

Both Goff and Dak are one-read QBs, who consistently, have a top 4 drop-off in QBR rating going to the second read, year in and out.

But Goff can do a traditional 5-7 step drop, unlike Dak.

I was wondering when you would show up? How was your slumber party?
Why did the Rams get rid of Jared Goff. Because he couldn’t read a defense. The microphone is only in his head for 15 seconds. He didn’t have enough time to tell him what to do. Jared Goff LMAO

You’ll have to ask one of the girls. Overall I think it went pretty good

They aren't a good team period, but they are overachieving because of their QB. They shouldn't have beaten the Bucs either.

That’s the worst part about them is the quarterback

So how did he beat the Vikings? How did he nearly beat the Ravens, Vikings (first time around), and other teams. How come the Lions were still competitive despite the talent disparity? Are you saying Dak can read a defense, or is it the fact that he can escape the pocket that allow him to bypass it?

Goff does do multiple reads, he just doesn't do it enough. Probably the most frustrating thing with him. Something like 20% of the time LOL. Though to his credit, he did have multiple reads on that walk-goff TD throw.

Prescott can absolutely read a defense. Prescott doesn’t like throwing Int. He’d rather pause a little bit longer and make sure his receivers open. He doesn’t do that when Cooper is in the game. He knows exactly where he’s going to be. We’re a different team because of that reason. It’s about trust continuity. Cd lamb may be the better receiver. But Cooper is the best runner in the league. Cd lamb went the wrong way in the first quarter against the Raiders
