Dak vs. Hurts

Hurts recovered his composure and did some good things after that. A fumble was not the reason they lost.

Hurts subsequently took them to a 10 pts lead. It's how he handled the mistake, he didnt capitulate like certain QB's.

Trying watching the game, rather than find an angle to try and support a bias. Hurts played well, he made a mistake, put it behind him, gathered his team to take a 10 pt lead and ultimately lost to a QB who was neigh on perfect.

I cant see how that game elevates Dak in any way.
If only Dak could step up to a challenge....which appears his achilles heel.

They both have something in common now. Both cost their team an important game with a turnover. If that was Dak fumbling away a TD in the Super Bowl, half the threads on the board would be trade or cut Dak threads or Dak sucks threads. Sometimes, the other team makes a good play. You have to live with it as long as it doesn’t keep repeating itself.
Hurts played better than I expected. He had one of his best games, but you are correct, if Dak had simply fumbled the ball like that with no contact, we’d be reading it in every thread. Not to mention when he had Smith wide open for a TD with no defender in the zip code and led him out of bounds at the two. That kind of thing happens. I don’t expect perfection, but we would be hearing a great deal about inaccuracy despite the subsequent TD. Here, even in great games and victories, fans pick about passes that were off target, even when caught.

Then why did you bring up Romo? Oh yeah, to defend Dak. So you crap on a previous Dallas QB to defend the current one? Is that how that works?
To remind you how Dak, not Romo, broke a 30 year franchise playoff drought of winning an away playoff game. Dak also has thrown for several 300+ yards and 3+ passing TD playoff games, things Romo never did. But let's do it your way and call Dak a worthless POS QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

Yeah, so in your eyes, Dak can be the cause for a playoff loss due to his turnovers, but Hurts can not? Hypocrisy and bias to the core at work.
Well, when Hurts responds after the 1 turnover fumble with a TD and a FG for a 10 point halftime lead and the Philly defense gives up 3 td's and 1 fg in the second half it's tough to blame Hurts for the loss.....but you and a few others will defend Dak to your end of days so there really is no point in discussing Dak anyway seeing as how he didn;t play last night.

Interesting how just a moment ago you say Dak can't be blamed for the loss against SF yet somehow Dak can be credited with the win vs. TB......and you called me a hypocrite? That's funny.

Did you boo or cheer when Dak received the 2022 Man Of The Year award pre-game? Please be honest.

It's simple.

Hurts was the much better QB this year. If you are ranking QBs for 2023, Hurts should be rated ahead of Dak.

But this is Hurts first good year. Let's see where he is next year.

Neither considering I didn't watch the pre-game show. You see, even if I had I still would not have cheered or booed as I do not get caught up emotionally in players.

I never said Dak wasn't responsible for the loss against San Fran. I've said he wasn't the only one responsible. Hurts fumble returned for a TD was strictly on him. That's the difference you refuse to understand.

The Dakolytes are hurting right now. They were really hanging their hat on the best QB in the division thing, and well, that's dead.
You’re dreaming. Who cares? I’m a huge fan of Philly, but Hurts only made 3-4 mistakes all game. He played the best I’ve seen him against a team that forced him to throw. But I’m so happy that he and the Eagles are broken in misery today, I will think of nothing else, and even the continued focus of every post turning to a Dak sucks won’t even get a rise out of me. LOL.

Hurts, Siriani, and every Eagle and coach and fan can suck it all off-season. Their misery is my joy! And you guys can’t sidetrack me from that….lol

The defense second half collapse had nothing to do with? The special teams blunder had nothing to do with it? the Hurts fumble was huge and completely on him but my guess is they win if the defense didnt go south in half 2

That was a boneheaded play by Hurts right there. But outside of that one play, he was brilliant much of the game.

Smart play by the Chiefs TB at the end just sliding down to eat clock. I think the game would have ended with OT as I don't think the Chiefs could have stopped Philly with nearly a minute 45 left and one timeout.

I agree. Same happened to our loss against the 49ers. Our Defense failed to stop the 49ers from running 2 long and time consuming drives in the 2nd half which also led to 49ers points. But to some, it was only Dak's fault.

I mean when you compare how Hurts played last night to how Dak played against San Fran, it's not even close. Hurts had that boneheaded play but he was their best player last night. Dak wasn't even close to the best player against San Fran and frankly, was a big reason they lost.
