What do you mean bro, that vanilla 2014 defense with non-existent pass rush was special. We had elite d-linemen like Tyrone Crawford and Nick Hayden terrorizing the league and studs like Mo Claiborne and Brandon Carr patrolling the backfield. It's not like Dak has had 10X better to work with or anything.

I think given the pathetic results of all those 18 seasons; I will always prefer to watch the fist 9 seasons (Romo's career) than Dak's later 9 seasons. Knowing the result will be the same crap, I would have fun watching Romo and those Teams from that era, then the current brass of prima donnas of this new era.
One was fun to watch, the other is frustrating and fake, it makes one count down the remaining years left in that contract so we can put both to pasture, move on and focus on the future and success, 'cause this current Team it ain't so.

Dak can outduel a superior QB. Brady/Wilson/Rodgers. He dueled Rodgers to a dead equal halt twice in 2016, but Rodgers made a hand of God throw that was just bad luck for us (like everything has been lately). Russell Wilson in 2018 was superior to McNabb or Stafford (Romo's only 2 playoff wins). So both of Dak's 2 wins were him outdueling BETTER QBs.

And he dueled Brady to a halt in 2021 in Tampa... but Brady came away slightly victorious. Then he outdueled him again in 2022, but this time Dak got the better of him.

Romo pfffftt?? Lol. Anytime he goes against a superior QB.... I know where my money is going LOL. Favre/Rodgers against Romo? LOL easiest choice ever.

Most of Dak’s numbers came when the NFC East had the most pathetic teams for a number of years. Yes he padded numbers getting to play them twice a season. Against great teams he sucked, that’s a fact! How many games did he just sling the ball hoping to catch up in garbage time?

His stats mean nothing. When has he ever fired up the team on the sidelines? Deer in headlights sitting alone I have plenty of memories of. He wasn’t worth his last contract never mind this one.
