Dak vs Romo: Just the Facts

They both had teams with defenses that couldn't stop the run and offensive coaches that wouldn't commit to it.
Jerry's been lucky with having these two simultaneously I'm not sure if we'll be as fortunate the 3rd time.
Exactly. What IF our defense could have stopped Seattle in the Romo fumble game at the end or Green Bay in the Dez catch game with slightly under 5 min to play? Or the stop Rogers on 4th & 25 Dak's rookie season?

Some of y'all need to really learn what average means..

I mean literally so far from above average are you kidding me there's 32 teams in the league both these players have been in the top five more than once in their careers and just recently Prescott was second MVP voting and should have been the MVP second team all pro led the league in scoring like I don't understand what you mean got lucky with the average?

no both were franchise quarterbacks, top ten in the league at worst and that's so far above the 16 line that would be called average.. these guys are both franchise quarterbacks..

they are very difficult to find and you want to call it luck, Tom Brady in the sixth round, Brock Purdy in the seventh round, you want to talk about luck the San Francisco 49ers couldn't have been more lucky after they made a huge mistake trading three first rounders for Trey Lance and ended up with Brock Purdy last player taken in the draft.. you don't call that luck and by the way they haven't won a Super Bowl in a long time, and I know they're better than us as far as championship game appearances but let's be real lots of teams get lucky with players and sometimes you need some luck...

I'm sick and tired of hearing the word average the team's 32 that would be 16 would be the average point and none of these quarterbacks ever at any point even as rookies it was rookie of the year that that's not average that's not above average above average would be like 12 these guys have been in the top ten their entire careers and have had many seasons at least three in the top five and in the MVP talk that is not above average....

Why don't you check at the bottom 20 quarterbacks in the league and let me know what average really looks like because I can tell you what it looks like even a guy like Geno Smith can be called slightly above average what Aaron Rodgers did last year people thought was bad no that's above average that's slightly average to above average now he used to be elite but those are what average looking quarterbacks look like not the ones who have 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions 35 touchdowns and 9 interceptions and getting the MVP voting just recently and been part of number one offense is more than I can remember... You might wanna check statistics Prescott is also in the top 6 where he was in the maybe top 10 now and touchdown interception ratio I mean did you see those stats up there that's all time not just with the Cowboys the man has so many top 10 statistics against his own peers in the league let alone how he ranks all time with the Cowboys,

that's not average I get it we need to go further in the playoffs but please don't call it luck and don't call it average..

a huge appointment in team play in the playoffs and big games, yes...
Will you say that in Spanish for the Spanish speaking posters? Does your little voice gadget do interpretations?

Title should be..."Just a tiny cherry picked sample of facts that doesn't come close to presenting the entire accurate picture." Or something along those lines.

Yet Dak's highs were higher than Romos.

Give Dak Romos defense in 07 and 14, he gets by both the Packers games. Romo just doesn't produce enough offensively, fax.

Silly to say the GB game where Romo had like a 148 rating. He could not have played a better game. The Giants defense in 2007 was one of the best and held a 18-0 NE team that had one of the most prolific offensive seasons ever to 14 pts. Dallas wins that game if Crayton catches a couple balls - one that hit him in the hands that would go down as one of the worst drops ever.

Stop it! You are going to burst her bubble of love!

This image sums up the QB comparison nicely, I think. Both QB's have won two wild card games. Thoughts?

And Romo is/was the far superior QB

The mighty Troy Aikman/Roger Staubach led Cowboys have been reduced to comparing two losers like Romo and Dak to each other.

This fanbase has fallen mightily.

Yes 9 years is cherry picking and a tiny sample size lol. Sorry you didn’t like the facts.

Give Romo Dak’s defense in ‘22 and they don’t lose at SF.

They both are/were lousy when the games meant something.

Enough of FA and 4th round stiffs.

Fax

I always thought they are roughly the same quarterback with Dak having the edge because he shows up for Divisional games.

the win or go home game so called stat was brought up by Romo haters. To include late season games.
Funny this was never used to measure any other QB
well, he was 2-4 in playoffs... nothing to write home about.... he got into playoffs 4 years, Dak 5 years. both have only 2 wins in playoffs.

neither did anything spactacular. not sure why Romo maniacs defend him like they do.
