Something I've noticed about Rush is that he does not check out of the called play that often. With Dak it seems like he checks out of the play 50% of the time. Kill Kill Kill. This tells me Rush can see the field and understand the defenses. Looks to me Dak just wants to throw the ball and pad those stats.

Not saying Rush is a better QB necessarily, but is his understanding of the offense and opposing defenses better than Dak's?

Heck no he doesn't understand defenses better, if he did he would be able to beat coverages and score more TDs. If it wasn’t for the running game he wouldn’t even make it to the end zone to score his 1 TD average per game.

Interesting seeing as how several times he relied solely on the passing game to earn scores....but hey, you keep up with your reality.

It didn't seem to me like the running game was doing much of anything last game.

yes, yes it is.

If you watch the Sounds from the Sidelines video against Washington, you’ll note a conversation Rush and Dak had. Rush tells Dak that he went too fast and that he didn’t want to throw because he saw a shallow spin out. Dak then replies with “Yeah I know… mumbles about some nonsense” and Rush replies with “I don’t trust it” throwing a shot at Dak would likely would have either A. Checked out of that play completely or B.) thrown an interception/fumbled. Rush also clearly shows an understanding with his anticipation, patience, and timing in the pocket. It’s so strange to me that the offensive line suddenly becomes better after Rush starts.

Rush clearly is the brains in the QB room. Dak has no idea what’s going on 99% of the time. He’s like Jared Goff who can’t read a defense except they give Dak the privilege of unnecessarily checking out. He needs that privilege revoked.

Maybe that's the problem. Rush is using the running game more than Dak and chalking up WINS. Dak is checking out of a run play to throw an incomplete pass. You ever think of that?

You ever think of the 10 penalties a game the OL got? You know the ones where they have a positive run play for 4-5 yards and it gets called back to due to “holding”. Penalties nullified the run game.

How much has the Jones brainwashed you and how much of your wealth have they robbed from you?

vs. CINN drive before halftime saw Rush throw 3 of 5 for 13 yards with 0 rushes result FG

That's one example. Have a good day.
Are you having a stroke? You said it relied SOLELY on the pass game. And if you are also getting close enough for a FG for not close enough for a TD, then that's not an accolade. Any other QB would get trashed for a TD per game stat sheet. Especially when the RBs got them into scoring position often.
But yeah sure, solely.

Was there rushes in that drive? No.

Regardless, Rush has helped Dallas to 3 wins in a row which all of us will take happily.

That wasn't the argument and you know it. Well, maybe you don't.`
