Dak vs Wentz, Continued

Some people are just in their feels so deep that they can't think of the Cowboys in a realistic way anymore. It's all a fantasy land where every player with a star on their helmet is a GOAT and nobody could possible be better, or in this case, better for even 1 season. How they can have that mindset while also knowing we have 3 Wild Card wins in the last quarter of a century is beyond me.

Math. He gave you math and you are ducking out. Not a single stat in your/ Wentz defense. Nada.

This is an interesting take.. so I looked it up..

Longest winning streak. Dak 11.. Wentz 9
Longest losing streak Dak 3 Wentz 5

Okay those are team stats.. let's focus on their own play..

Games with "perfect passer rating" Dak 1 Wentz 0
Games with passer rating above 100 Dak 32 Wentz 21.
Games with 3 or more TDs Dak 17, Wentz 10
Games above 70% completions Dak 22 Wentz 13 ..
Games below 60% completions Dak 14 Wentz 26
Games with 2 or more INTs Dak 11 Wentz 13

5 best passing games by rating..
Dak 159.3 148.3 141.8 141.7 137.1
Wentz 128.3 126.3 125.9 122.1 121.0

So Wentz's best game ever would not crack Dak's top 5. In fact I took a peek and it might not crack Dak's top 10.

Try as I might I cannot find any objective measure that says Wentz has ever been better than Dak. He basically had one nice stretch in 2017 and then another 4 game stretch in 2019 where he has been good.. For the rest of his career he has been pretty spare. If you find one please post it.
Dang....I've missed some Great posts!

Ether:clap:

Again I asked you to present any objective measure to show Wentz has played better than Dak ... Not your opinion.. not "he was better one year, one month, one game.. cause I say so " or whatever. Dak's a better player and has proven it time and again. He owns Wentz head to head despite playing with a lesser coach and a lesser defense almost every year. I don't know how people can keep claiming Wentz was MVP of the league when his damn team won a championship without him. Exactly how valuable can he be if his backup can win a championship with the same team? During his career best 9 game win streak Wentz passed for under 200 yards 3 times and under 250 4 other times and committed 6 turnovers. MVP my arse. If Dak won games throwing for minimal yardage like that people like you would be falling all over themselves to credit Zeke, the defense, the punter, the trainer, anybody you could for winning those games EXCEPT Dak.. (and did) but you cling to an MVP case for this guy? GTFOH. FYI During Dak's 11 game streak he failed to hit 200 yards only twice and committed 4 turnovers.. FOUR!!!!!!! So 4 turnovers in 11 games as opposed to 6 turnovers in 9 games? Which would you say was better? I say again, Wentz at his best has never been close to Dak at his best. No matter what your "eye test" told you.
If Andy Dalton had won a Super Bowl in 2020 no one would care what Dak did...I'd personally pack Dak's bags and call Uber.

The Wentz 2017 MVP myth was TV hype machine. The teammates knew it and proved it with Nick Foles.

I would even go so far as to say if Dalton had balled out and gone 9-2 in Dak's absence and gotten us to the NFC Championship game I would have supported keeping him over Dak. THEN we would have had a legitimate argument that we could get the same results for a lot less money. But we DIDN'T get the same result. Dalton beat teams on their 2nd and 3rd QB and people got all excited. The only win he had against a starter was against Cousins.. He played like hot garbage overall and failed to elevate the team.. in fact everybody's production on offense went down with him at the helm. Some people will call that "the same results we got with Dak" ignoring the fact that Dak had us in position to win games even with the defense giving up 37 points a game. Dalton never showed any indication that he could play at that level. Fortunately for him the backup QB parade trotted out against him and he got some traction and got a little money from Chicago because of it. He proved he's better than other team's backups which is an upgrade for the Bears.. I wish them luck.

So you and a few others here know what is on those advertising contracts? Need a bridge? Further decline in viewership or attendance is going to be reflected in salaries, regardless of what you think you know.
It's a contract. All parties are responsible monetarily. Period.

The NF of L could care less how they meet the end result.

110 billion will be had.

I dont care really either way its irrelevant, but I do believe that Wentz is in a better fit for him.
He has a better chance to succeed with the Colts now.
Yep.....back with Reich.

Recipe for success, IMO.
