Are you saying Dak is faking his injury? Are you saying he didn't tear his hamstring ligament from the bone? Is that what you're saying?

Dak owns Hurts and the Eagles. Are you denying that as well?
Dak definitely didn't fake it. And I'm not trying to be facetious or anything here, but at his age with that kind of non-contact injury, he should consider retiring for his longtime health and so he can enjoy life raising his daughter and future other children without worrying about being in pain or physically hampered all of the time. I said the same thing about Romo in 2016 and I'm saying it about Dak now. He's earned enough for his family for their entire lives and that's before after-NFL earnings.

If we were to believe that Dak's career follows some type of pattern, then we could expect a great year from him in 2025.

Statistically speaking, Dak's two best seasons came after missing games the previous season due to injury.

Dak only played in 5 games in 2020 and he missed 5 games in 2022. In the following two seasons of 2021 and 2023 Dak threw for over 4400 yards for over 35 TD's with 10 or less INT's.

Then there is the fact that the two rookie O-linemen should be much improved.

I like to think that we can assume Jerry has learned his lesson and will strive to acquire legitimate NFL RB's. That would bode well for Dak.

This team will be much improved next year just by virtue of not repeating a devastating rash of injuries, especially on defense. It would put less pressure on Dak if he doesn't have to overcome a two or three score deficit in the 2nd half of games.

So, yeah, Dak can have a great season, barring some unforeseen circumstances.

Runner up MVP 2025, and if there's no Cowboys bias Dak will win comeback player of the year.
You have to come back from something in order to be comeback player of the year.

Agreed.

Only problem I see is having some few draft picks in 2025 since Jerry traded away our high 4th round draft pick for a career benchwarming WR and our 6th round draft pick on an old DT who never panned out, got cut and is now playing for the Bills.

Absolute horrible GM'ing by Jerry. It's as if he is intentionally sabotaging this team now and its future.

What a joke. Hurts has a loaded team. Dak has no team. BIG DIFFERENCE.

I swear, some of you guys truly don't know or understand football.
Actually your wrong! Hurts defense gave up 38 points and Hurts put up 35. So his defense didn't help him that much. Dak in his game against the Chiefs his defense fought their guts out and they gave up 19 points. Dak didn't even lead his team to a TD. Hurts uses his legs to make plays while Dak holds onto the ball and takes a sack to preserve his passing #s and he can blame the offensive line for not blocking or the WRs for running bad routes. Hurts performs better in big games.

Hurts has a loaded team. One of the best Olines. Solid running attack. Excellent top rated WRs. Excellent offensive Coordinator. Excellent Defense. Dude's team is loaded.

What does Dak have? Nothing but ish.

He will return as the leader and player we're paying to be the face of our franchise. We're down on him and have been down on him for years. He's faced tough injuries over the years. This injury will push him to work hard, and to get back in 2025 ready to lead us to a Superbowl. Who believes this will happen???? Please give your thoughts

We'd better hurry up and find the wormhole to the alternate universe where this will happen so we can finally see it.

Dak is becoming increasingly less of a useful factor with the oncoming of every season.
Continuing to perform badly every season, but keep expecting success, is called insanity!

What I find most disturbing recently about Dak is his mobility. He was never Lamar Jackson but early on he could at least punish a team for letting him run wide open. The last year or so he has been rather statue like. He looks like an older Vinny Testaverde.

That makes the o line's job that much harder, it takes running plays for the QB out of the playbook, etc.

IMO, his upside is rather capped at this point. The QB's that can pass or run have a noticeable leg up on him.

At almost 33% of the cap, I'm not sure Patrick Mahomes could do it. Next year will be another throw away year to take a large bite out of Dak's big contract.
