Truthfully, Dak's wagon was always hitched to Garrett.
Garrett betrayed Tony Romo and ditched him when he thought he'd found the Boy Wonder who would make him look good.
But Dak is as much responsible for the Cowboys collapse and failures of this past season as Garrett.
He took his poor play to a new low.
After thinking it through and discussing it here, I now believe that Dak should go when Garrett goes.
Perhaps it was meant that their contracts expired together.
But Dak certainly hasn't shown himself worthy or deserving of more than $12-15 million per year.
And it's pretty much obvious that he will never be a marquee player.
