I used to think Jerry wanted a super bowl HIS WAY. Now I believe he wants to be liked by his players, press, the high ratings and the cash that comes along with it. The fanbase that loves this team sticks with it no matter what Jerry does.
I actually believe Jerry could care less about a Super Bowl he has all he wants without one.
That is becoming obvious the way he runs the team i.e. the contracts in question.

Jerry and Stephen reward players primarily for past performance, not predicted performance. It’s a really stupid way to build a roster, but that’s what we do.

Please reread the post.
100% right no one's taking them now if you read the post it's about the fact that we should have gotten rid of them before we paid them a fortune while they still had value.
Get rid of them a year early rather than 3 years too late
Can’t trade them now but both Zach and dlaw’s contracts are easy to move on from after the season and we should. Dak is here for a few more years
But you can’t build a team without extending some guys. Dlaw has lived up to his deal and Martin did his second contract. The mistake with Martin was last year when you allowed him to blackmail you, and I’m not blaming him. I don’t blame a player for wanting to get paid but I wouldn’t have given in myself. He’s a HOF player but his time as a dominate player has passed. Let him walk

Clueless front office that has never been capable of building a championship team under the salary cap...even though Jerry is the one that pushed hard to get the salary cap.
