Dak's Ceiling

The Dallas run defense was also atrocious yesterday as well as the “home cooking/rigged” officiating with its utter lack of holding calls against on the GB offensive line, along with the bogus holding call prior to the non-PI that should’ve been one in OT.

Herbert played the 49ers last night and I didn't even bother to watch, because I KNEW the Chargers would light them up!

Herbert's best receiver last night was WR3. Williams and Allen would be making a difference for the Chargers but both have been out most of the season.

I think he hit his ceiling the first part of last year.
He has now regressed.
I have no hope of him getting better.

I’ve been a dak defender the entire time but yesterday showed me the light . Dak needs to go sell matresses full time .
He’s complete trash and will never win an important game .
He’s a stat compiler in games that don’t matter . His arm is weak , he doesn’t see field well , he’s erratic under pressure , he does not have great pocket awareness , he’s not fast , he literally sucks .He’s better than Cooper Rush but at 40 million he’s a franchise killer . It's not name calling per se. It's a reference to PeeWee Herman's behavior of "I know you are but what am I" which is what you engaged in with your reflective stop whining about my whining. I didn't even hate on Dak. I said I think he's reached the ceiling of his abilities.

Try not to generalize all across the board. Of course you're going to get a lot of hate in a loss. That happens everywhere and for every team. It still doesn't mean that you can reflect that generalization on everyone else.

He's done. For a player like him, it's about that time in his career where he starts transitioning to a quality backup QB for the last half of his career. If the Cowboys were wise and a 1st round QB falls, this would actually be the perfect time to draft someone. We know Dak is going nowhere for the remainder of his contract but they can draft and sit a QB for 2 years.

He's regressing.
He always used to have the read option in his repertoire to help this offense out.
Now he doesn't have that(for reasons unknown) we get to see him try to be a PASSING QB.

HOWEVER he can't succeed because

Poor footwork
Inability to read defenses
Poor accuracy

It's a catalogue of compounding issues and faults.

he peaked a couple of years back. now he is slowly descending.

Top 10 qb around 7th. I think that’s where he stays. Great place to be.

It’s the penalties in OT that screwed us yesterday. Offense was moving the ball.
