Dak hasn't been the same since the calf injury against NE.....his running ability at least kept the defense at bay and allowed him to make some great plays on the run. Unfortunately that is all gone, he has become a pocket passer and the RPO is no longer a threat because Dak will not run with the ball........they ran it several times yesterday and each time he gave it to the back, when I thought, on a few occasions, he could have had long gains if he had kept it.

He is not a pocket passer, he has no awareness he moves around or up in the pocket sometimes when pressure isn't there. He needs to be quicker and more decisive with his decisions, but he needs to slow the game down in his head, everything seems to be going 100 MPH right now.......and hes hit or miss on his accuracy, that ball probably has a dent it based on how hard he seems to grip it.

Were stuck with him. Maybe a new OC needs to be found to help a QB like this. For the life of me I don't know if we even have a QB coach......but Dak is who he is, after 7 years I don't think the talent will change. Maybe FO needs to start looking for the replacement......unless he just proves me very wrong I don't see the Cowboys winning anything (NFC Championship, SB) with him at QB.

The guy is still chasing the ghost of his rookie season 7 years later.

His numbers his rookie season, aside from INTs, were middle of the pack.

It was the efficiency that made that offense good and him look good leading it. He took what the defense gave him instead of trying to be Mahomes like he does now.
I just posted a stat....dak had 5 4th qtr comebacks in 2016. He's had 5 since.

Not a complete indictment...just another piece of the puzzle that we have to try to put together in whatever way we can.

Peaked his rookie year. Actual dual threat running ability with enough passing to get by if given the right oline and skill position help. Which he was given.

Has not been better than he was his rookie year.

It’s the penalties in OT that screwed us yesterday. Offense was moving the ball.

Oh I agree. But the two plays leading up to the 4th down call were awful. The 4th down play was pathetic. Our offense just hates short routes. We had one guy on a short route and three running 10 yards down field. Ridiculous

We’ve been told that his 2 best attributes were that he never got hurt and missed games and that he doesn’t turn the ball over…..that myth has been busted

He doesn't turn the ball over if his not asked to win the game. Just like Rush but with a higher price tag.

he just turned the ball over twice with a lead……that’s been getting worse

....there's no ceiling with the OC we have. No consistency with the OC we have. Hasn't anyone realized this yet?

I would love to see Dak with a different OC before people condemned Dak. Moore seems incapable of changing his playcalling style to fit the strengths of the players and like Garrett would rather try to force square pegs into round holes.

Has Dak reached the pinnacle of his growth or is he still developing and maturing? I personally think what we see is what we get. Curious what others think.

Here is a pic of Dak's ceiling:

7 years in the NFL. Yea, we have seen who he is. His cap hit is so high next year the Cowboys will try to rework the contract over extended years. He will be the QB for the Cowboys for a long time.

What I don’t understand is why Dak is not a very good athlete.

I mean 38 year old Aaron Rodgers can run better than Dak.

If Dak could run he’d make this offense way better and I just don’t get how the guy I watched in college is such a mediocre athlete at his age.

Name a QB that doesn't turn the ball over...JUST ONE. And anyone can get hurt. Some of you....I swear....you haven't watched much football in your life.....lol
