It's not just about the money. It's about the psychological aspect of it. The invasion of (the illusion of) safety and privacy. The inconvenience of the entire thing. Yes, it was partially her fault for having the valuables in an unlocked car, but it doesn't mean it wasn't upsetting to her. Sure, everyone gets over it, but it's still a nice chunk of change for someone who wasn't raised rich.

One of the comments from this article was that they weren't going to find a Super Bowl ring in her car!! It made me chuckle.
Well that was a "Captain Obvious" comment made by that person in the article. I don't think anyone football player's wife would have a Superbowl ring, a jersey or signed cleats in her car. That wouldn't make much sense especially due to the fact that their wives don't play football.

That's because alot of them are broke, low lifes with low self esteem and feel better trying to downplay a man's wife who just had an unfortunate situation happen to her as if people never had things stolen from their homes or cars before.

But for one that should be your backup I think it'd be a little bit more intimidating if you rolled over there with your AR10 or your AR15 propped up against your leg sitting in a nice comfortable chair your sick sour should be in a holster not so intimidating I'm in Texas everybody has a gun so bring the bigger ones if you're looking for intimidation..lol

It doesn't make it right you're trying to downplay people getting robbed I don't care how much money a person has or whether he or she deserved it or not I don't care about winning the lottery tomorrow nobody has the right to break in my vehicle and take my **** and in Texas they pay for that dearly when they get caught doing it and we get the law on our side these kind of people need to be stopped the fact that you're even debating that they had some kind of good reason to do it or we should just write it off as hey it can be replaced now that's not it works I don't care if you break in my vehicle you tried to take my cheap sunglasses you're still getting shot because the more you allow or accept these types of crimes they escalate the more they get away with the more they do it there is no explanation that you can sit here and act like it's not a big deal it's a big deal when people are breaking in your stuff your house your car none of these low lives deserve to be breathing that's the point because one day you....'t allow any of it none of this right....
if you think it is this is like ridiculous. you're just really exposing yourself to who you really are and that sad you even trying to excuse anyone for this, .no matter how little or how much you have NOONE is entitled to try to take it from you.... use the tree yourself!!

Ok…my original comment was pointing out that the financial loss shouldnt affect them much, without regard for the fact that no one deserves to be violated in that manner. My bad.
I was called out on it, and acknowledged so. I was wrong. I did not say something like they deserved it to happen, and I don’t dislike Prescott. Maybe go back and read it again.

That doesn't happen to very many players and that mostly happens in the NBA or the show boaters from the Major League Baseball you rarely see that from an NFL player especially a high end elite player who doesn't go around with an entourage he doesn't wear gold chains he's not at clubs all the time this is a very good human being that does nothing but good things for the Dallas community he uses every bit of his fame here to help the community he's not gonna run out of money those shows you watch are only showing the worst of the worst and it's obvious in the last say 20 years that's only happening to a minuscule part of sports and it's the obvious players that are the ones losing the money the ones I have to have 10 cars that they show off they show up at the clubs all the time they have to have six houses and they have an entourage of about 30 people that follow them around they make sure they all have houses how people lose their lottery money as well you can't keep your money if you think it's never ending but that is not Prescott you guys treat Prescott like he's some kind of thug...
I mean since when has Prescott ever had an ego since when does he look like a person who spends money where it doesn't need to be spent I mean I've never seen it he's not that kind of guy he's not Kelvin Joseph he doesn't think he has a rap career he doesn't have an entourage this guy will not end up on 3030 he lost all his money I'm sure he's already invested a lot of it we don't know his finances but I'm sure Jerry Jones has helped him like he's helped some other players with investments the right places to invest where to invest it they probably have money invested in franchises where his money is making money not losing it....

You've never had an iPad an iPhone or a laptop in a bag or something that you brought with you somewhere and you left it in the car when you went in to eat lunch or when you went shopping I mean when they say computer software maybe that's what they mean or maybe they were moving in office maybe because their house was torn down they're living in more than one place you know maybe they have an Airbnb or their rental and they're going between offices do you wanna expand on what you really mean by being shocked they might have something computer related in their car? By the way I didn't even read the story because I'm uninterested in it but the way people are reacting there some of you guys are such the most immature ridiculous fan base I've ever seen questioning every little thing that's happening here and why they had things in their car look it should have never been a story the only reason it is a story is because it's a famous person there are a lot of people getting robbed and their cars are being broken too but they don't get talked about because they're not famous and rich and hated on as much as Prescott is apparently everyone's happy he got robbed..

It's unfortunate but if you are Dak, you are thankful she or your kid wasn't in the car at the time. Hell, the material things are replacable. But the bigger issue for ALL professional atheletes is the warning from the FBI that they are targets.

iPad, iPhones, Laptops are considered to be computer hardware. MS Word, Excel, PhotoShop are what you call computer software and most companies no longer put out the actual physical media of the stuff unless she was schlepping a whole lot of games for the ps5 or something.
