Dak's pretty good

We could go around in circles all night. Bottom line is defense sucks.

So does “Desperate, One-Read, can’t find a traditional 5-7 step drop in year 5” Dak who can only score points on scripted drives or when defenses go soft and whose passing game is pretty much solely reliant on play-action, even with the one-safety, man this dude sees all day..

The real problem here isn't who the quarterback is or who the coach is, and who knows if it can be fixed. Like Romo Dak is a very good quarterback. I like that Dak can make these last minute comebacks or attempts of thereof. But the problem is consistency, which was the same problem we had when Romo was here and he would make up for some of his mistakes or almost did like Dak did. My main problem with the Dak crowd is that they don't view the whole picture and just look at the comeback or even almost comebacks and use that as proof of Dak greatness, when Dak deserves some of the blame for putting us there as well sometimes. Like today, he had a problem early on holding onto the ball too long, you can hear the announcers mention it in the early game a few times. He also stalled a drive after which the browns scored. I mean he wasn't the only person at fault or the one most at fault either, but I dislike this repainting of things where everyone but Dak is to blame for today, when he clearly contributed to the loss. And those last minute heroics are all fine and well, but you don't always win them. I'm not the only one that thinks that way I see, was listening a bit to the ticket post game shows and Donovan was talking about Dak needing to be more consistant, where Dak is great at times, especially at the end of the game, but then has spurts of where he is bad. In the end, I just don't like handing out praises to people who helped contribute to a loss. The last moment heroics are cool when we win, but when we are trying to make up for mistakes we made and they don't work out, well then it is close but no cigar.

Because he’s a stat padder, one-read QB with a fake good boy routine who throws everybody under the bus when things get tough and people start looking at him. And we wasted a tight Sb window with an all-pro line to cater to this bum and what could have been a generational RB, while Romo bled for the incompetence of Garrett, who is doing his magic in NY right now, and this opportunist organization, for a cheaper contract, had the audacity to bench Romo for this clown and Romo wasn’t even allowed to compete for this fragile pretender, who spoke about ‘respect’ in an interview when he didn’t get paid what he clearly wasn’t worth, this off-season..
It is due to my good manners and politeness that i shall deign to respond to your post. But let it be known i disagree with the entirety of your comments.

This dude is a very, very good QB. If he's not elite, he knocking on the door. I don't agree with his haters, I mean, critics. I give you guys a little grief just to havebe some fun, but if you still think he's the problem, you've lost all credibility with me.

I hated Garrett because he sucked, I don't get why you think Dak sucks. Tell me why, and leave the money out of it, there are MANY overpaid players in pro sports.
Those of you Dak lovers, feel free to tell us why.
just because someone is a critic doesnt mean they think he sucks, life isnt always binary bub

He virtually threw 8 interceptions today if the Browns would have just caught them.

Ton of yardage down, 41-14, too.

Obviously, today wasn't on him, but his fantasy football stats don't mean much.

Too bad he’s on his way to becoming Romo 2.0 minus the injuries.

The defense is bad, but he can become Romo with the injuries if we ever get that defense where Romo had to run for his life. So far, at least he isn't being killed out there.

Your a good guy overall. I know you like Dak, but I got respect for you, because of your civility, even with those who disagree. I know you disagree and I’m cool with that.

I get it. You think Dak sucks. All good I'm not mad. He's far from perfect but when I itemize the the problems with this team he's not at the top of my list in fact, he's one of the only bright spots we've had. But don't let me interfere with your schadenfreude.

When some of us were saying we could easily be 0-3 there were others who were saying we could be easily 3-0, and to me that is missing a lot of the holes besides the defense many of us have been seeing, and right now Dak is far from being a top 5 QB because while those comebacks/almost comebacks are and that playing with heart at the end is nice, people forget or choose not to see any of his questionable plays that are part of the reason we have to try and comeback in the first half. I like dak, but after a bad game, I like to give blame to where blame is due, which is most of the team minus CeeDee and Shultz for the most part.

Dak is a solid NFL QB, who I'll roll with as a fan if he stays with Dallas, but I want an elite QB.

#TankforTrevor.

Padding stats in garbage times isn’t a ‘bright spot’ nor is Brown defenders dropping what should he like 8 INTs. Sorry buddy, he’s not the only Dallas Cowboy, that apparently it’s OK to bash, to defend this mediocre joke whose suppose to have the “it” factor that everybody rallies around.

So if the team falls behind in the score, as can happen in any typical nfl game, Dak should not try to compete or do anything because its considered 'stat padding'. Gotcha!

Maybe he should try playing when he’s not behind and not throw teammates under the bus when the offense can’t score for five straight quarters like last year.. Wow, amazing.. let’s start flinging the ball when we are already down and defenses are playing soft.

dude is garbage..

I hear you but, to be fair, our coach declined the ball at the start of the game and defense let the browns march right down the field and score a td so technically we began the game from behind.

The first two games, we scored zero points in the first quarter. 3 of the 4 teams we played have garbage secondaries and have been giving up major yardage and points. Browns also have a garbage defense.

Apparently only “Desperate Dak” with his 9 passing TDs, despite all the yardage and attempted throws, plays good defenses.. Josh Brown has 15 TDs and Cole Beasley is basically his second WR, the guy that was one of the many scapegoats for this bum Dak.

If the Browns defenses caught like the 5 dropped INTs that should have been, Dak stans would have had less to latch on too as well..
If, if, if???? If you knew what you were talking about, I might not be laughing!!! If?????

Dak was top 3 in dropped INTs by DB last year. He must be number 1 by a long shot this year. For all the excuses the Dak-stans make about his WRs dropping balls, they sure are silent for all the dropped INTs..

Yes, and that happens when the defense knows you have to pass. Evaluating Dak based on his play coming back from 2 or 3 scores behind is not a true assessment.

OL has caused two strip fumbles on Dak, RBs fumbling, more bad special teams, and INTs at the end of the game. Players that wash out of the league throw for under 200 under normal circumstances, not 450+ when the defense knows you have to pass.
