It’s not going to be pretty.

They can’t “Dak friendly” this up enough to fix anything.

I think it’s going to be ugly enough that it’s very likely that this his last season in Dallas.

He did by, walking away and not escalating the situation. That shows leadership, restraint and not buying into the words that don't mean anything. Diggs didnt do anything when Dak thew the ball at him as the walked away....why, because its banter amongst teammates. This kind of talk even happens in band camp. Remember? Lol

Not much here just a little jawing. Its actually nice to see these players barking and shouting because it happens all the time in games.

And it’s much worse and more personal during games cause you don’t know them. Trying to get in your head. During practice with your team mates it’s just jawing. They Probly played video games together later that day and said the same things to each other.

There is a good reason most coaches feel their locker rooms, and practice fields, are sacred territory. A lot of stuff goes on between these athletes that the media would try and make stories out of because they've become so lazy they try to pick the fruit off the ground.

For the first time, in a very, very long time, the Cowboys defense feels they are on even ground with the offense and that is going to get some real chatter going.

I spent 36 years of my life around football as a player, assistant or HC....this is extremely tame. Salud and Go Dak!

I'm surprised some of you guys don't trash talk your friends. If I tripped and fell, my former coworkers would have immediately jumped in to lift me up and asked if I was OK. My best friends? As soon as they knew I wasn't dying...would all point and laugh. I made a heart-felt post on Facebook when I retired after a long and successful career in education. There were SOOOO many comments about me being missed and that I've earned it...etc... But my favorite comment, BY FAR, was from a life-long friend. "I always knew the whole teacher, principal and superintendent thing wouldn't work out." LOL

I've never played a competitive sport. But expecting these young guys to go out there and physically fight with each other and not have moments where things get a bit heated, is ridiculous. Things get heated on this discussion board and we aren't even arm wrestling each other.

I don't think it's post season performance. The guys should be use to to losing in the post season.

I thought the purpose of the positive Prescott threads was to rile up the Dakaters. But it would be pretty boring without the ying and yang of most threads. Members need that, hell, we had people down on Witten.

If we'd had this back when, we would have had it about Staubach and that "goody goody" image that he felt he had to defend himself by saying he liked sex as much as the other guys but with the same woman. Back then, a lot of players were pretty rowdy and even rowdier on the road and Staubach didn't play that game and a lot of players resented him over that. One in particular was Diron Talbert, who took the opportunity to deck him in a game. Guys who know that are doing wrong like company and not some poster child for monogamy. Roger was a little too squeaky clean for what pro athletes were doing back then. And the stories about Mantle and Chamberlain's exploits are just the tip of a large iceberg.

However, it would be refreshing if the Dakbate could get some new material because it's stale.
