Daks the only reason the Cowboys had a chance

Oh jeez. This board. We have one guy saying Dak doesn't want to win and now this guy like clockwork saying he is the only reason we had a chance. The ONLY reason. This damn board...
Difference is, Dak not wanting to win is the only explanation left.

Let me rephrase - Dak doesnt care if he wins or loses. His check clears.

Him and the rest of the offense kept coming from behind to take the lead despite the terrible play calling. Even tied the game with 7 seconds to go. Yes he should not have thrown it away but it never should’ve gotten to that point. Anyone putting the blame on Dak for the loss is just a Dak hater and not being objective about what happened yesterday.

Go Cowboys!
Schotty......without question......had some bafffling play-calling all game. That's who I'm looking at. Left meat on the bone in the first half. I'm beginning to think he lets opponents' defense dictate more so than he requires the defense to adjust. Play-calling is too safe, given we need 30+ on a regular basis and he's too comfortable relying on Aubrey for 3.

His clock management in the 4th should be studied by any up and coming coach on the exact opposite of what to do.

And it isnt the first time.

I am tired of coaches learning on the job in Dallas.

The entire team was built around Dak and the offense. The defense has been an afterthought since Parcells left. And Dak signed up for this. He’s the focal point and the main marketing piece. Every poor decision will get over scrutinized.

I don't think most people are putting this on Dak.

But here is what we are saying.

Both teams were in similar situations and as the time was running down, Lamar and their offense found a way to go out and win it.

Why didn't our offense? Why didn't Dak? Why is this a common theme with the Cowboys? Unless they have an easy matchup, they don't have a finishing killer instinct.

I believe it's something that has plagued Daks entire career and probably a mental trait that caused him to also be a 4th rounder. Just missing that champion mindset.

Right now......looks to me like Dak & the offense is carrying our HC.

Dak and the offense. Try reading the OP again before looking so silly.

First drive we had Dak should have realized run game was working and kept running the ball at 2 yard line.

Aubrey screwed up as well with 2 kickoffs going out of bounds.

He also showed grit and determination getting hit so often bringing the team from behind making great passes all day.
and missed the layup for the game winner. Every good QB wants his WR wide open like that on the pylon and makes that throw - Dak air mailed it!

Agree.....so apparently Schotty hasn't elevated from OC and doesn't give a #$#$ about the D (all on Christian Parker)..............and that's a problem. Now the play-calling is in question, please tell me this isn't Clapper 2.0.

At least you added it was him and the rest of the offense was a reason, but to suggest it was the only is 100% disingenuious to us pretty much containing DH, and the job Barham did all night on D was fantastic. Yet, you just want to promote the QB? You just prove our point about you with the title of your thread.

Second, if Burrow/Allen/Trevor, etc, are under centre on the 3rd down in question, and their HC may/may not have given the directive to "only" throw the ball away, if t hey have a WIDEEEE open WR for the TD they throw it to where only the WR can catch it, and not airmail it. GP had his best game of the year, and your leader has to step up. Nobody will change your mind that it's likely the HC likely said throw it away if nobody is open, and if you look at Dak's eyes, he was spooked. Hell, even look at GP throw his arms up after the pass....Dak paniced, Dak and the offense had a terrific game for the most part. If you are an Elite QB you throw that pass.

If you cannot see this (which you won't), I don't really give a crap if you want to throw your hater insluts at me and others....So have at it, blame others,
