Dak now has what Weeden and Cassel had.

Erod, that's a great way to look at it. DMC (plus Morris) and basically the same OL - although Dez is healthier now than he was most of 2015. My only concern is if he plays light's out, but the team goes 3-3 or 2-4 because they're giving up 25+ points a game. Remember, a LOT of folks wanted to blame him for the playoff loss, even though they scored 31 and he had to bring the team back since the D was leaking for most of that game.

He's got to be Romo now. We'll see.

Let's hope Dak has a Tom Brady type year from last year and lead us to the promise land. Nothing like anger to propel your team.

There is a chance we end up with such a bad record, that stud DE might be there waiting for us!

I have full confidence in Dak but missing Zeke is huge, defenses won't have to focus on a beast and ease up some. Even if it is reduced to 4 games, that is still a quarter of the season....if it starts week one.

We are not starting off on the right foot:
1. rookie secondary
2. poor pass rushers
3. multiple suspensions
4. injuries
5. less than ideal running game

Dak is the man but can he overcome the present deficiencies? Can he avoid the soph slump?

Rodgers was just a step short of the SB last year without any RB at all. Dak will be fine.

We still have a top 15 run game with our backup RBs... r-e-l-a-x.

He'll be fine, Romo's went through way worse
Remember 2013 and 2014 Romo had DeMarco Murray .........just saying
Well for Dak's sake at least he doesn't have a historically bad defense behind him like Tony had in 2013

This should be a wake up call to Zeke. Of course, I don't agree with the six games, and I don't agree with the liberal, subjective interpretation of the PCP which I feel led, and can lead to bias, (Friel, Goodell I'm looking at you), and which must be changed in the next CBA, and which, imo, should get Goodell fired yesterday, but it's done outside of an appeal; so now, I will look at it the same way I do injured players, next man up for six games, and after that I have no doubt, Zeke is going to go all Tom Brady for the next 11 games, and hopefully be a wiser man. Woe to the teams having to face a really mad bull.

But I do think we can all agree on one thing, Zeke needs to mature before he can contribute a lot of value to this team. I hope for his sake he learns from this. Meantime, Alfred and Darren are more than capable of taking some of the weight off of Dak.

Additionally, the chip on the Cowboys shoulders is going to be huge. Those first six teams better be ready for battle because they won't win the war. 6-0 is very likely with the magnitude of the talent we have on offense without Zeke.

Oh wait, I forgot about the defense. Never mind. 4-2 is a sure bet though.
