Awwwww, did Dak's lowly haters think they had ammo this week????
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Four drops, most in the NFL.

Excellent on 3rd down. Converted on 4th down. RZ offense punching it in.

Dak was very solid and most importantly, didn't turn the ball over once in pouring rain.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr

1. Purdy
2. Stafford
3. Tua
4. Jimmy G
5. Russ
6. Love
7. Dak
8. Mahomes
9. Watson
10. Lawrence

Dead last: Daniel Jones

I was kind of shocked that people thought the offense didn’t play well.

Was it perfect? No.

But it was a divisional game, on the road, in heavy rain. The offense scored 27 points.

If before the game somebody told me “the cowboys are going to win 27-24” I would have said “sweet. Getting that week 1 W on the road.”

It’s just odd.

Tough night to look good when you are up that much, that early and with the crappy weather, but you think Dak looked good Sunday night and not just good but good enough that you felt the need to start a thread bragging about it? I didn't. I also didn't care because we kicked their ***** in the dirt. All I wanted was run some clock and don't turn it over. The extra points were a bonus.

Dak's going to be here all year. No sense having weekly threads overstating how well or poorly he played. Who am I kidding :lmao:

Since you invited this. Your boy was…..

Bottom 5 in the entire NFL ,in completion percentage, completions, yards, touchdowns, passes over 20 yards (1) and passes over 40 yards (1)

I was gonna let it slide but when you throw up a ridiculous thread like this one, ima hit ya over the head with it.

Carry on, Tad

Let's not gloat. Defense won this game reference Cooper Rush Ws. Good job by Dak protecting the ball and no "wth" passes. Expecting a solid performance vs the Jets.
The offense scored 3 TDs, lol

It's almost like these numbers don't matter and your whole point is nonsense, because you don't know how to account for game script.

Why would you continually throw the ball 20+ yards down field - in a rain storm - winning by 30? If he was doing that, you'd be saying how stupid it was to be aggressive.

Daniel Jones played in the same weather against a WAY better defense and had roughly same numbers, including completion percentage, or better than the Messiah.

The only thing more idiotic than starting a thread like this is actually feeling the need to defend it.

Like I said, I wasn't going to bring up our quarterbacks shoddy stats, because I’ve been in a state of grace lately , but when huckleberry decided to make his case, I had to hit the softball out da park.

He did a good job. If not the 4 drops maybe we had more points. But he didn’t turn the ball over. And our Defense and ST did an amazing job of taking advantage of the rain. They put points on the board. In that weather you need to run the ball and use short passes. On Offense. Defense gets after it. And ST got that block and TD return. I thought he was gonna step out for a second. Lol.

Nice team win. Everyone did their job. Next week Dak will be expected to do more.

Yeah, my eyes told me the Cowboys offense was very 90's like and I'm good with that.. How do some of these haters not take receivers ball drops and rain into account? Narratives are poisionous for the soul and perfection does not exist.. I thought Dak looked incredibly sharp..

Those drops were pretty big. In a close game those TDs turned FGs could have been huge. Dak played pretty well. All the QBs had throws get away from them because of the weather. Maybe the drops were weather related as well.

Roughly the same numbers? What? lmao

Jones had a y/a of 3.7 and threw 2 INTs.

This was dumb in that you're using volume-based stats that don't mean anything AND you're making them up for Jones. Double whammy.

We saw the Cowboys' blueprint for winning the SB this year Sunday night.

Top defense, limited involvement by Dak in the passing game (only 24 attempts), solid running game and special teams.

Now let's keep it up...

Absolutely wrong, Shabazz.

Dak's stats: 13 of 24, 54.2 completion %, 143 passing yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs, 0 fumbles, 72.1 passer rating.

There were 4 passes dropped with 2 what should have been TDs. That would have increased Dak's stats to: 17 of 24, 70.8 completion %, 200+ passing yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs, 0 fumbles and a 90+ passer rating.

Dak played excellent in pouring rain, drove the Offense to scoring 27 points (which would have been 8 points more (total of 35 Offensive points) if you convert 2 FGs into TDs. That was what should have been Dak's true numbers and an excellent performance in the rain.
