He did a good job. If not the 4 drops maybe we had more points. But he didn’t turn the ball over. And our Defense and ST did an amazing job of taking advantage of the rain. They put points on the board. In that weather you need to run the ball and use short passes. On Offense. Defense gets after it. And ST got that block and TD return. I thought he was gonna step out for a second. Lol.

Nice team win. Everyone did their job. Next week Dak will be expected to do more.
Why ???? The Defense is going to still be playing. I'm a Dak supporter. But this is complementary football here. Defense, field position, and score when you get the chance. Dak just has to drive the offense

If he wants to be a champion 25 att 20 comp 3 td's 275 yards QB

25 Rushes for 130 From the run Game (all Backs) Another 2 tds

Play defense like we can play defense. That's a winning formula

I had become a casual Jets fan, due to them having 2 players from my alma mater on the team, always want to see my guys do well.

Now with Wilson the probable qb for the season, if he doesn't do well, which is his history in the NFL to this point, they won't be very good.

Oh well, congrats to Mr., Gipson on the OT punt return for a TD...

Awwwww, did Dak's lowly haters think they had ammo this week????
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Four drops, most in the NFL.

Excellent on 3rd down. Converted on 4th down. RZ offense punching it in.

Dak was very solid and most importantly, didn't turn the ball over once in pouring rain.

Dead last: Daniel Jones
Not many great offensive stats thus week. Defense is always ahead of the game early in the season. Little ir no preseason play also kills timing

True, but he did have worse conditions than most of them, plus 4 drops (apparently tied for most). I do think he would have done better had he worn gloves, but fortunately he didn't need to this time.
I think it was his receivers who needed different gloves or no gloves at all. Dak didn't really seem to have much trouble putting the ball on the money except for maybe a couple of throws with the rush bearing down on him.

Daniel Jones played in the same weather against a WAY better defense and had roughly same numbers, including completion percentage, or better than the Messiah.

The only thing more idiotic than starting a thread like this is actually feeling the need to defend it.

Like I said, I wasn't going to bring up our quarterbacks shoddy stats, because I’ve been in a state of grace lately , but when huckleberry decided to make his case, I had to hit the softball out da park.
It's more idiotic to keep attacking your starting QB.

Roughly the same numbers? What? lmao

Jones had a y/a of 3.7 and threw 2 INTs.

This was dumb in that you're using volume-based stats that don't mean anything AND you're making them up for Jones. Double whammy.

Look, he's gone. Dude just spews nonsense, gets checked, and leaves. Rinse and repeat...

Since you invited this. Your boy was…..

Bottom 5 in the entire NFL ,in completion percentage, completions, yards, touchdowns, passes over 20 yards (1) and passes over 40 yards (1)

I was gonna let it slide but when you throw up a ridiculous thread like this one, ima hit ya over the head with it.

Carry on, Tad
Yeah but why would you not mention QBR? That's a far better representation of how well he plaed as opposed to "completions" or passes over 20 yards lol.

Off the top of my head, other than overthrowing CeeDee on a potential TD early and then throwing the ball 5 feet short on one WR later in the game, his other throws were pretty good, especially considering the weather.

I mean, his completion percentage to the WR/RBs was 67%+. It was just the TEs dropping balls that killed it leading to just a 25% completion percentage to them.

I just can't believe that fans are complaining about an offensive performance that put up 27 points and did not give the ball away once. I understand they were not impressive compared to an all time performance by the D, but give me 27 points and 0 turnovers by the O any week, and I'll take it.

No preseason play, in the rain, sloppy field and on the road in NY, on opening day and on the eve of 9-11, he did exactly what was needed. No turnovers. He drove the bus home. Nothing wrong with that. Stats don't tell the whole story.

He had at least 3 throws that were way off the mark. IIRC, 2 overthrown and 1 into the ground that only went a couple of yards. (Whether that slipped, or he realized mid-throw that it was too risky, I don't know.)

If a team averages 27 points per week. They will be top 5 in scoring.

Defense got 1 TD. Special Teams had the first one.

Just pointing that out.
I know but you're weakening my argument, and besides Juanyeh/Iggy are defense..plus Fantasy counts it as Defense.
