Foles is going to be the guy. Much more accurate than Vick, but he's a statue.

Rather than a read-option running threat, he'll fake the hand-off and throw. Should be easier to defend in that regard because Dallas only has to worry about McCoy running the ball, not the quarterback.

I think this is good news, especially if Dallas can cover the wideouts like they did against Washington.

Romo needs to put up 35 points.

Why is Foles getting so much respect? He beat Tampa twice and lost to everyone else. Im much happier see him in there than Vick.

Foles is a running threat in the redzone though, he scored on a QB draw vs. Tampa

he's not Vick obviously between the 20s but definitely more of pocket passer

Tampa was ranked 4th in defense in the league and 2nd in red zone defense. They held Drew Brees to 16 points. So Foles performed better than Drew Brees against them. Foles was the #1 rated QB this week by football outsiders. Tampa's problem's had been on offense, and they actually played well on offense Sunday. Foles was given no short fields and really only 1 turnover at his own 40.

Vick was 5-19 in the red zone with 1 TD. Foles was 5-9 in the red zone with 3 TD's.

Not giving him much respect, just meant he played well against us last year surprisingly. In two games against us last year he threw for 470 yds, 2 Tds and only 1 int.

Glad we are not facing Vick who has looked better this year than previous years.

Despite the obvious D-line injures I think we are in much better shape this game than the games last year. Not just bc we are better, but they have less weapons. They didnt have McCoy but Bryce Brown is one of the better RB backups in the NFL.

The Eagles offensive line is much, much better than last year. We have Kelce, Peters, and Herremans all back, who were hurt last year. In addition, we drafted Lane Johnson. We also have Zach Ertz in addition to Celek at tight end. And having McCoy and Brown makes RB's deeper. Foles was with Romo step for step in that Dallas game until Bryce Brown fumbled, which cost us the game. The question is whether the Eagles D can stop Dallas, which may be doubtful. Murray being out hurts in pass protection, at least.

Tampa has played the Jets, Cardinals, Pats, Eagles and Saints. I'll give them credit for the Saints but they gave up 23 to the Pats who have had trouble this year and 31 to the Eagles. As for the Cards and Jets, the freaking Jaguars defense would look good against them. The Bucs defense is not that good.

The Pats have a good defense. The Tampa offense scored, what, 3 that game? It probably took Brady a lot of possessions to get that 23. Really, Tampa could easily be 3-2 or at least 2-3. They handed the game to the Jets on a penalty. And they never should have lost to the Saints. Foles was given no short fields, sacks, turnovers. Our defense couldn't get off the field but Foles as 6-7 with 2 TD's in second half.

Bravo sir.. I was about to start typing up something similar until I read this. Tampa had a very solid defense.. they just sucked on offense. Foles ripped their #4 ranked defense to shreds throwing for 3 td's and rushing for another. What will he do to our defense? Same thing IMO.. can Romo keep up with him? Who knows, I don't feel good about it though.

Yeah and we could be 6-0. Tampa is where they should be 0-5. Also the Pats had 17 at the half.

Lane Johnson has been getting abused this year, and in general their O-line has been underperforming.

The offensive line has run blocked well but not pass blocked as good as they should have. It is still 5 x better than last year, when no QB had any chance.

I am worried about our special teams coverage with Harris.

I'm more worried about the eagles this game because if one of the Cowboy players get injured I'm sure the eagle crowd will cheer just like the classless Texans did to their own QB!

Other than that, screw the eagles.

One thing I will add is the eagles don't play that well at home. They seem to play better on the road
