you mean, like when he was a 4-3 DE at LSU?

David
He was lights out good as well, ask Oklahoma about him from the Sugar Bowl in 2003, that lard butt had wheels at the time, scored a long Ware like touchdown.

Anyone who thinks Freeney is going anywhere is out of their mind.

Anyone who thinks he's NOT going anywhere is out of THEIR mind.

I agree. I just wanted to see what it felt like to declare my line of thought correct and all others morons. :)

I can see Freeney being out of reach budget wise for the Colts. They parted ways with James to keep Reggie Wayne, I don't see see them cutting anybody to make room for Freeney unless Peyton is willing to restructure heavily and knowing those hardheaded Manning boys, who knows.

I thought Wayne was in with James. I was under the assumption James was let go because they had their eye on this year, and Freeney.

Freeney would cost two 1st round picks... wouldn't he?

If Indy slapped the franchise tag on him he would. It will be interesting to see what they do given their CAP situation.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "in" but I'm not talking about camaraderie but business dollars and cap restrictions. They decided Wayne was more important to the offense than Edge James so James was not offered his market value and went to Arizona accordingly.

If Edge was let go to secure Freeney I would think that they would have made efforts to secure an extension by now, I think they've simply run out of cap room after paying three players close to 200 million dollars.

What I meant was Wayne was signed before Edgerrin was released. I'm pretty sure Edge was let walk as a look to the future, and specifically Freeney. Wayne was already taken care of.

I think Freeny is going to get an opportunity to explore the market but he may end up franchised but I forsee no long term deal. Just my gut feeling and observation.

We're in the tournament and you guys are talking 2007. Jeeze.

it wont be a long stay in the "tournament"

look at how this team is playing...if you think a run deep in the playoffs is expected, well....maybe I can find some ocean front property in Arizona for you

They have shown flashes, and gone on runs during the year. You can discount them, but they give some of us hope. :)

I had alot of hope till I saw the last 3 games, especially the 2 losses

I guess one can say we have more of a shot than the teams that wont make the playoffs, but thats about all anybody can say...
