Whatever, Dallas has had one of the top statistical offenses for many years now and Moore was part of it,,, so was Garrett,,, and.now MM. Scoring on the weak is fine, it comes with being a good team, we still need that next step up to happen so we can get out of this second tier though.
Bottom feeding GOOD.

The way this season started I was sure that our offense was terrible, McCarthy was just so cautious. After the SF game he opened things up fortunately.
One of the things I’ve come to respect McCarthy for is his willingness to change things up, even drastically when they are not working. Some coaches hang on to what they know and planned on and are unwilling to deviate. The offense this year and ditching Nolan after one year are great examples. Some coaches have too much pride to admit they erred and change course. Not McCarthy.

and our offense was like BS for like the first 6 weeks.
Which is why I wanted McCarthy to install his offense from the start. We'd have been rolling from the beginning of the season, but I understand that the thought process was believing that we had a better chance of competing immediately if he didn't just retool the whole thing when he came in. ... It was a flawed thought process for those of us who had seen enough of the Garrett/Linehan/Moore offense to understand it wasn't good enough.

If Miami scores 10 points the Dallas defense will finish 4th in points against. Can't blame the defense.
Well, at 12-5 3rd straight year, 3rd playoff appearance in a row, not sure anyone should be blamed for anything.

you should throw all those stats in the trash can.

the next 3 games are against playoff teams. last time dallas only scored 20 against detroit.
defense on PO teams is usually better than avg, the players are more pumped up and this is win or go home so alot of things will change.

you cant base what dallas will do in playoffs, on what they did in reg season.

There are some weaker teams in nfc playoffs GB may be one of them, but then again they may not be.
TB is the one weak team but their defense has been really good lately, so you just never know and any team dallas plays should be good.

So let wait and see what dallas playoff stats look like.

I am not dismissing the offense's production by any means, but I will point out that the defense and even special teams helped quite a bit with scoring both directly and through field position.

DaRon Bland was responsible for 35 of the 509 by himself and several other defensive turnovers led to great field position and several fourth down stops in blowouts led to easy scores as well.
Complimentary football. Don't leave the locker room without it.
