looking at coming down Thanksgiving for the game. Can anyone help me with some travel/ticket plans. Any good packges for tickets and motel accomidations. Flying down from South Dakota.

Any ideas appreciated

Thanks TT

why not check out like hotels.com or priceline.com and look for hotels in the area thats like 5-20 minutes away. You willl also need to find a good restaurant to go to since it thanksgiving.

hotels arent bad but most sports package that include trabel toand from game have upper level seats. I want lower level sideline if possible. The Marriot has a package but have no idea if it is a good deal.

Oh i see good luck then. you might need a really good package to get those seats. Cowboys last thanksgiving game at Texas Stadium.....

some guy on here sells packages

maxsports or something is the screen name

we sell the packages. Our packages with lower level tickets sold out a long time ago. All we have left is upper level. We do have some upper level low rows and sideline

Is that the one in Farmers branch? djdoug and I stay there everytime we go to a game.

BTW anyone going to the monday night home opener against the eagirls

build your own package. buying tickets at the stadium will give you flexibility for your $$ and your seat selection.

I had to get my tickets for Thanksgiving from Stubhub. $106.00 dollars a ticket for corner endzone seats.

Priceline is your friend for rental cars and hotels.

Make sure you pick at least a 4 star hotel though as sometimes their ratings are less than what you expect them to be. While a three star maybe fine, the three star you get may not!

As for Priceline and cars, pick exactly what you want and don't *upgrade* at the counter as the price can and most of the time will skyrocket. So if you don't want a compact car, don't request it on Priceline.

As for tickets, there are several ways to get them. A reputable way is the preferred way as your tickets won't be rejected at the game if you know what I mean.

What I mean by reputable ticket seller is one time we purchased Texas Rangers tickets on Ebay and the guy sent us the actual ticket. What he did though was resell the tickets for a better price and use the "Email the ticket" option which invalidated the phyical tickets he sent us. While he did refund the money to us, it wasn't pleasent being rejected at the gate. We had the option to purchase other tickets, at a Cowboys game you may not have that option. If you are flying down to Texas and getting a hotel, I don't think you want to miss the game because of some dirt bag screwed you over on the tickets.

For flights, just discount and last minute ticket places on the net. Sometimes the big places like Expedia are the cheapest. My wife is really good at finding great ticket prices, and many times Expedia is it. Sometimes they cost a little more than maybe one other place, but there is also a service level you get with a place like Expedia vs JohnsDiscountAirFair.com

Attaboy! LaQuinta Inn. No need to go spending loads of money. Just get a room, and plan on spending your money on food, drinks, and the Dallas Cowboy experience.

La Quinta is a good hotel.

I also stay at the Red Roof Inn....for about the same price.

Don't laugh guys, they are newly remodeled and nice and clean. It's a 5 minute drive to the team hotel if you care to go get autographs.

Save you money for the important stuff!

Which hotel is the team hotel? And at what point is the team actually there? Do either the La Quinta or the Red Roof have an indoor pool(I have a teenage boy coming that likes to swim) and of course high speed for the lap top? If not either of these are there any others close to the stadium that are somewhat economical?

Players begin arriving between 5-8 pm the night before the game.
