Where'd that silly bear go? Since I've lived in the Buffalo area for the past five years, I was really looking forward to engaging in some MEANINGFUL conversation with him on the state of Drew Bledsoe and the Buffalo Bills.

theblackbear has ventured NFL forums worldwide owning armchair QB's and dissecting homers weak arguements. theblackbear now has a particular interest in drew 'the tin man' bledsoe as it appears once again he's pulled the wool over the rest of the NFL's eyes. So now that theblackbear has landed in "The Zone" and he wants to know what the make up of this board is.

As a Cowboys fan what are you ......

1. Dallas Cowboy Bootlicker (typical run of the mill homer with superbowl aspirations)
2. Drewlicker (likely former Bledsoe trolls and homers from BB.com)
3. Band Wagon jumper (jumpin jack, perhaps under the rader between the superbowl years of the 90's and the current "Tuna" era")

Or

A free thinking NFL fan that doesn't believe everything told from the corporate puppets and front office bafoons aka "Don't believe the hype fan." / DBTHF / aka theblackbear himself

Make no mistake theblackbear is eager to discuss football with you all Dallas fans despite the fact you handed it to the bills not once but twice.

theblackbear promises to conduct himself properly here as long as you don't become an enemy of theblackbear and BBO. So come on cowpokes and cowboys let's RUN IT!!!

Mike 1967 thinks the blackbear looks cute and cuddly.

I'm a free thinker BB, I'm not afraid to go against the grain. I often say what some others are afraid to say. I watch a lot of football, both college and pro, not just the Cowboys and I'm a fan of players who currently play for the 'boys, ones who used to play for the 'boys and ones who have never played for the 'boys. I get paid very well for being objective and have the ability find that needle in the haystack. I long ago outgrew that 'love it or leave it' mentality about the team. After the post Jimmy era I still loved the team, yet I criticized the coaches and personnel decisions as I saw fit and I will continue to do so and don't care who doesn't like it.

His fan club must be hot on his tail because 'thenblackbearisdumb' just registered.

What Bills board did he say he was from?

I might go over and bust his (their) chops later.

There have been hundreds of threads on this forum about Bledsoe and whether or not he's the real deal. As a Cowboy so far, he's done a great job as long as he's protected and given time. I think Bledsoe is only as good as his surrounding cast and the Cowboys have a pretty good surrounding cast IMO. He's experienced and has been to 2 SB's and hopefully he'll QB the Cowboys to another.

I don't see why he can't, especially under Parcells.

:starspin

Isn't it odd how everyone is always qualifying 'if he's protected' as if he's the only qb who needs protection. They all need protection, but the 'players' make plays even in a bad situation and the fakers, well, they say 'when one of these mobile qb's wins a superbowl, maybe you have a point'. I distinctly remember McNabb throwing for over 300 yards and 3tds against the Pats in the Superbowl and losing by just 3 points, while the 'great Manning' and his 2 first round receivers, first round tight end and first round RB getting whipped 20-3 by the Pats. And they say McNabb had a bad game and is over-rated, what does that say about Manning.

theblackbear is not here to antagonize loyal cowboy fans or take on the zone's mod squad. theblackbear has many powerful moderator enemies already and has received several death threats from the buffalo bills organization for telling it like it is. theblackbear already dealt with several of tom 'the wizard of oz' donahoe's henchman and is looking for redemption. theblackbear here to take on bledsoe homers only...so you are either on the side of theblackbear or you are drewlicker for life!

You're new here, but I like you already.

Lets see here

All Bills QBs combined

141-238 59% completions 5.8 yards per attempt
1385 yards
9 TDs
5 INTs
79.6 QB rating
4-5 record

Cowboys Drew Bledsoe

173-268 65% completions 8.3 yards per completion
2215 yards
14TDs
7 INTs
96.8 QB Rating
6-3 record

The Bills are in the better conference and their qb's don't have the equivalent of an 80 year old dog in experience and don't have a track record of excuses, excuses, excuses. If not for Iggles being their own worst enemy, we would be 5-4, just one more win than them and with our veteran 'franchise qb' and all of the upgrades and a 'hall of fame head coach'. I guarantee you Bill isn't gloating about how good this team is with Drew. He knows we've under-achieved, and he's not very happy at all.

No, the Bills don't have a QB at all.

If, if, if... the facts are the Cowboys are 6-3 and one of the best teams in the NFC, picked by many to be a surprise SB contender.

And it doesn't matter how good the AFC is, the Bills got beat by New Orleans.

twobillsdrive.com is a popular Bills board. Not that I'm advocating anyone signing up with some lame arse toll-name and starting inflammatory threads while posting in the 3rd person. Just making sure ya'll know the board is out there...

You don't leave much room in describing the different Cowboy fans, some of us are Hardcore who have been watching the boys long before some of you were a twinkle in your momma eye. I'm a fan who will error on the side of the team and organization, I'm a fan not a fricken sports writer for the DMN I can see fault but will always believe that we can turn things around and that players can improve. I also think not all position are filled with star players but none the less important to the team. Lastly I don't believe a season’s success is strictly measured by winning the SB but playing to or above the expectations heading into a season.

'Lastly I don't believe a season’s success is strictly measured by winning the SB but playing to or above the expectations heading into a season'.

If you really believe that, why won't you acknowledge that that is precisely what we did in 2003 and with far less talent overall and a much less experienced qb, who didn't have good RB's or Keyshawn or a pass-rush or a good secondary and was forced to carry the team virtually by himself against 8 elite defensive teams. You think that players can improve, well, you didn't want our 2003 starting qb to be given a chance to improve in 2004.

This is what I was going to post.

Last year the Bills sucked with Bledsoe, and this year they suck without him.

Bledsoe goes to another team and plays well.

You do the math.

Good grief, Losman's career is in its infancy. That's real big of you to trash the rep of a beginner for a 'two time loser'.
