Funny how that non-good secondary and non-existant pass rush still managed to be part of the statistically best defense in the NFL that year.kartr said:'Lastly I don't believe a season’s success is strictly measured by winning the SB but playing to or above the expectations heading into a season'.
If you really believe that, why won't you acknowledge that that is precisely what we did in 2003 and with far less talent overall and a much less experienced qb, who didn't have good RB's or Keyshawn or a pass-rush or a good secondary and was forced to carry the team virtually by himself against 8 elite defensive teams. You think that players can improve, well, you didn't want our 2003 starting qb to be given a chance to improve in 2004.
Carried the team virtually by himself. ha ha ha!!
