Dallas Cowboy Stadium Question

Hello neighbors

I am from Louisiana (Saints fan if that matters). I recently won a trip to the big bowl. First time to Dallas/Arlington. I was wondering about parking. Is there anything other than the stadium to park? Is it really $71 to park there? Just some questions I had.

Also, what would be some "have to see/do" while there?

Thanks! :eek::

There is parking outside of the stadium parking lot. I paid 20 dollars in a lot next to the baseball stadium.

Yeah parking actually like $5000.00. Send me those tickets and I'll save you some coin.

Congrats on that.

we don't know how it's going to be for the super bowl. I assume parking will be even more with less availability.

True, You could be better taking a shuttle bus from one of the hotels

I tried. The package has us staying at the Westin at the DFW airport. They do not offer a shuttle. I read that you can park at some places 1.4 miles away LOL

That is a short walk by Texas Standards. :laugh2:

There is parking all over the place.

the side streets of collins all have parking and you can park in the best buy lot up the street.

lots of it you just need to look around.

I was just there for the Cotton Bowl and there is parking everywhere, and it is close. Just get there early enough and it should not be a problem. We paid $30 and picked a spot with grass next to it. Our lot was right next to the baseball stadium and the Cowboy's Stadium Lot was just across the street.

There's a place you can park essentially for free and it's only a 10 minute walk.

I'd tell you where it is, but all the Saints fans I met at the Thanksgiving day game were jerks. Some fat ignorant cajun tried to push my son and I down 18 rows of seats. I'm so glad your team got eliminated by the lowly Seahawks.

Have fun at the big game! :p:

That's not nice. I've met some Cowboys fans that are tolerable :) We aren't all ******bags.

The baseball stadium wont be in use so there will be plenty of parking. Might take a bit of a hike from some of it, but I assume you aren't planning to get there and park with just enough time to get in the stadim by kickoff, so you should have plenty of time.

You may also catch one of the guys hauling people on a bicycle/rickshaw and for $10 get them to give you a ride from your parking lot to the stadium.

As for things to do while in the area, you may want to go to where they display the five, count 'em, five Lombardi Trophies the Cowboys have won and pay homage, ya lowly crawdad head suckin' coon-***! Above all ,have fun, ya lucky stiff!!!!:D

Here, here, 365 days a year.

I had a blast at work today though. I was othe only lowly man in the office playoff pool that got all 4 games right.

Ruston, LA

I think LSU sucks, too. :D

So I have my vehicle rented. Funny thing is I could get a F150 for $123 for the weekend and the rest of the vehicles were over $300 with tax :)

My wife has been hounding me to find nice places to eat. This wasn't a planned trip so we don't have much money, but I'd like to keep the entire thing under $500 (hotel, airfare, and tickets are free). Any suggestions?
