My son and I are talking about the game (my son is a Dolphins fan).

I saw Grammtica hit beautiful 50 yarder earlier, so I had full confidence in his hitting that last attempt if given the opportunity. In my observation, Grammtica used the same amout of speed and timing for that last attempt tan he used for the earlier FG that required a stronger kick to make it through the uprights.

Question ...does anyone think that if Grammatic would have been a little more patient, perhaps slowing his approach on the ball, that he could have given Romo enough time to re-set the ball for a bloop kick into the uprights.

I say that because I clearly saw Seahawk players on the ground around Romom and not immediately threatening him. In the meantime, Grammatica had followed through going past Romo. Hence, Romo had No choice but to throw or run the ball. I must admit, Grakmatica did try to provide some block for Romo. But that was the tackler that caught Romo from behind.

Could Grammatic have waited for Romo's readjustment?

field goals are all timing. rarely when the ball gets mis handled is there time to fix it.

PT, the rush is so close and fierce at this level, by the time Romo reset the ball it would have been blocked anyway.

To Romo, those split seconds must have seemed like an eternity when he misplaced the ball. I suppose you're right! That was a hard loss.

another tough loss that perfectly typifies the whole season. Dallas had many opportunities to capture the advantage this year. and when it was time to follow thru - the ball squirted right thru their fingers. i guess the end is only fitting.

I watched the entire game, and I had an empty feeling in my stomach when the final whistle blew ...I couldn't really care if you believe me or not, but I felt bad for the Cowboys. However, don't get me wrong, it's not sympathy!

Listen, anytime an NFC-East team plays as hard and consistent as the Dallas Cowboys did during that game... you've earned big respect points from this Eagles fan ...no hidden messages, no condescending undertones ...none of that! Dayam ...you guys may have lost that last battle, but you dayam sure won that war!

Regardless of who your next opponents would have been, I wanted the Cowboys to win. I listened to Jerry Jones, Bill Parcells, Romo, even T.O., and all I heard was total dignity, pride, and class ...you guys have shown plenty of style yesterday.

I don't want to overdue this, but I sincerely wanted to say that I'm sorry you lost the way you lost. You deserved much much more.

Get lost.
You have a subtle way to rub it in.
But in the end I don't buy it.

And if Romo makes the hold, and Gramatica the kick, our defense would have allowed Seattle the opportunity to kick their own game-winner. 1:00+ still on the clock. Count on it...

that post says it all, and I agree 100%

Funny you say that because I found myself rooting for the Eagles to beat the Giants today. I admit, it was kind of like picking which sister I wanted to kiss. But the Eagles are alot more of a class organization than the "Big Talk" Giants. I'm glad I don't have to listen or look at Tiki anymore. His always stoned look demeanor and Yahoo Shockey's constant yelling whenever he didn't get the ball has got to wear on a fan.

Actually, I think Tiki is applying for a Sports Analyst/Announcer job somewhere. Just don't be surprised if his face pops back up on the tube. But at least it won't be popping through the Cowboys or any other team's DL.

Your team demonstrated a clinic in humility and dignity in the post game interviews.

Hey i have to give the Eagles all the props. The way that team held together through all the adversity. Never game up. Garcia has been amazing. Good luck getting to the championship.

That's pretty cool of you to say. I think we can Beat the Saints. Even with Lito Sheppard Out, Hood is 100%; not better than Lito, but in the last game when we played the Saints Hood was not 100%. This is his chance to make up for all of the balls caught by Horn. I definitely know we can limit their run game.
