HC Brian Schottenheimer's culture has created a renewed energy' for Cowboys

Yeah, super impressive. In the league nearly 30 years and never sniffed a head coaching position until Jerry needed a paper coach.

3 decades of performance by these two say otherwise:

Lol, here is a sophisticated fan here. Enjoy it, they are off to a good start. Don't disappear when they are playing well. Get your sniffer ready.

and you and rocky will disappear if he fails
just like jethro, same thing different year

Then leave and come back when he’s gone and spare us your incessant whining.
Translated:

Blindly believe despite what logic and common sense says otherwise....growl like an idiot, proclaim every 6th round pick a steal and a future pro bowler.....OR LEAVE.

Sounds about right.

I don't see failure on the horizon. A winning season this season is not a failure. No matter what happens in the playoffs. The key is improving and going in the right direction.

- Looks optimistic on paper now ... but let's see how it translates on the playing field and into wins.

- Much rather be talkin' about Renew & Energy , than having lackluster, tiring, same ole thang, song & dance McCarthy returning as HC. ..

.. thanks Big Mike, you did us a huge favor by rejecting Jerry's offer

We’ll see how everyone feels about the culture and renewed energy after the opener. We better show up in Philly with some renewed energy.

I will settle for any kind of energy

gas
coal
solar
nuclear

ANYTHING!

I just hope he isn't trying to be everyone's best friend. That never works out well. The focus has to be 100% on football, winning, and competing for championships. If it isn't it's going to end up looking like another Wade Phillips country club. The moment it becomes clear that the good ship lollipop and everyone being besties is more important than winning will be the moment Schotty looses the team.
100 percent agree. But Jerry doesn't allow that.

Schottenheimer and Solari were brought in to install a "power run game". The end result was these ultra slow developing plays that defenses sniffed out and stuffed. They frequently intentionally left weak side defenders unblocked leaving running backs dodging them before they even got to the line of scrimmage.

Maybe Brian says nice things to players to get them hyped up but tactically, he has been pretty bad on Dallas. I'm not sure why him going to head coach is going to improve him.

Eberflus also has some recent negativity about him.

I'm concerned that this is a Mike Tyson offseason. That is to say, everyone has a plan until you punch them in the face. We shall see how much positivity there is by game 5.

Something prompted Jerry and Stephen to make some moves this off season.

Was it him?
It's been said by some Pickens is here because Shotty pushed for a better WR2.

If you listen to some who've been covering Cowboys for a long time, they will tell you Shotty was extremely influential in draft picks this year.

With the Cowboys having an early date to kick off the season, Philly will be their opportunity to make an early good impression with his team. That promises to be quite a tough task, with Philly having been the winner of the Super Bowl in the previous season. It'll be a challenge for sure.

The Cowboys should manage to recover, in the event Philly proves too challenging as an early team to face. Nevertheless, their schedule promises to be a difficult one to have in their closing month of the season, with several contenders to face. It's no easy schedule for a new staff to deal with. We'll see how they manage to end their year.
