Personally for me, I see... Romo over Prescott - QB; Sanders over Hayes - Returners; No Parcells at HC? ; Harvey over Micah - DE Otherwise good.

Can you explain why Herschel over Zeke? IMO Herschel was in the Bo and Vick category of their reputations far exceeded what they ever did on the football field
I'm not sure I would put Hershel over Zeke BUT I completely disagree with the reputation over production statement. Herschel did far more with far less than Zeke or most any other RB in history.

Herschel, Bo & Vick were other worldly athletes. In Herschel & Bo's case, their "numbers" would be vastly different if they had come directly into the NFL full time.

Meredith is an easy #3.

Usain Bolt achieved the fastest speed ever recorded by a human in the 2009 World Championship. He reached a speed of 27.8 mph during the 100-meter sprint. At 6'5", it's an absolute anomaly that he could hit that speed.
I was thinking that Bolt held the record. No disrespect to Hayes but Bolt is the fastest human ever recorded and in track terms it wasn't an incremental improvement. He obliterated the previous records. I watched a video where they said it was not believed possible to run that fast ... prior to him doing it.

The only person on the planet who has ever thought Jason Garrett was worth hiring and keeping as a HC for a decade is Jerry.

It is incredibly telling that since Garrett left Dallas at the end of the 2019 season, no one since considers him HC material at any level. Not even at the college level. Was supposedly considered for the Stanford job, Notre Dame - even University of North Texas. And no one has hired him again as a HC.

Garrett is the poster boy for our owner being willing to waste the careers of several HOFers and core talent on a guy anyone on a couch could see was no leader of men.

Agreed. It was based on their relationship. The team is ran like a family business. JG’s dad worked for the team so they also wanted Jason to work for them too.

That’s the cowboys in a nutshell. They hire people based on feelings and personal relationships. Not qualifications.
