Game Day Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons | Postgame Thread

Nothing good to talk about. Rush threw some sweet passes in the end, but our receivers are lacking. Kudos to CeeDee. A warrior. Rico Suave looked good. Luepke should be used more. Penalties. Missed tackles. Guyton. Overall, nothing good to talk about.
Dowdle showcased he should've been the lead RB all season and should've never been taken out for Zeke.

Game wasn't on here and wasn't going to make extra effort to go watch when the Cowboys don't put in effort. Looks like I didn't miss much.

If you want perspective on how bad our receivers are after CD, watch the GB game. They have at least 5 receivers better than our #2

Another exciting way too late comeback attempt.

Those are basically our high points this year

I consider the week 1 win cruelty

Cooper is no superstar but he is better than Dak at this point in their careers. With reps, Cooper might even excel.
Dak had the ability to scramble that Rush didnt have but now that Dak is a statue, Rush isnt much more if at all compared to Dak.

I have to give the Cowboys a lot of credit. There are no moral victories but the defense held Atlanta to 100 yards rushing. I expected the Falcons to run for at least 200. So good job by the defense. The offense lost this game. Dak was awful again. And, no, Cooper rush is not the answer. The penalties, especially the false start and pre-snap stuff. That has get to get cleaned up. Too many drives stalled when negative plays set them back.

I expected the Cowboys to lose and I thought there was a good chance that the score could get away from them. It did a little but they held them under 30 points which at least gave the offense the chance to stay in the game. I am under no delusions that that last score was anything but a garbage times clock eating drive with the Falcons playing soft.

The Falcons were averaging giving up 132 rushing yards per game and the Cowboys ran for 137 so they were better today. Rico averaged 6.3 yards per carry but had only 12 carries.

This is a bad football team right now. I don't see it getting any better. The offense lacks talent. The defense is injured. I am happy to take a top 10 draft pick and maybe solve one problem somewhere on this roster.

Dak and Zeke both seem to not have vision and don’t see the field and feel what is going on around them like other players. Cooper was seeing the open receivers and throw very catchable balls.
