Guyton gave up a sack, but it was to Garrett, so can't say too much bad about that. Overall, we had a good plan for handling Garrett.

Carson was pretty solid, but did give up a TD.

However I still prefer to be on the winning end
33-17 on the road in a stadium with rowdy fans against a team that had the top defense last year (or one of the top depending on which stats you use). There's nothing to be ashamed of about that. I'm going to enjoy this week and then we'll see what happens next week.

No mention of the fact that he didn't shadow Cooper, who should have had a TD anyway when he toasted Carson deep. Carson also gave up the TD to Jeudy.

Not saying Carson didn't have a decent game for a rookie thrust into a starting role, but we shouldn't make it out to be more than what it was. Plenty of room for improvement there.

Sorry boys, but I'm not feeling it for Sunday.

1. Dallas was 2-4 last year when facing winning teams...before Packers in playoffs
2. Cleveland had 2nd best defense last year (DVOA rating)
3. The dog pound is loud and emotional & Browns were 8-1 at home last year
4. Guyton facing Myles Garrett in his very first game is too much
5. Dallas has lost 8 of it's last 11 games on grass
6. Cleveland has one of the most complete rosters in NFL
7. First game of season = sloppy. Cleveland can be damp and windy.

Anyone remember all of this garbage from a few days ago? Dog pound was silent by the third quarter. Garrett, while a great player, was no major factor. The grass didnt bother anyone. Cleveland's roster certainly didnt look so complete. Moral to the story..... last year was last year.

Carson had an excellent game. The pass to Jeudy was indefensible. Could of would of.... and whats that saying??? If my mom had ...... shed be my father.

if Mazi Smith played, he didn't stick out and I didn't hear his name... which is not a bad thing and probably a good thing.

Statsheet won't say much. DLaw does a lot of disrupting that doesn't show up in stats.

DTs played decent today. No Chubb though so, we'll see next week vs Kamara & Williams
Mazi was in there a lot. His job was to clog up the middle and we did a pretty good job of that overall.

I'm not upset by his play, but I don't think it should be made into more than what it was. If you want to think it was excellent, that's your prerogative. I saw things that could have been better and hopefully will over time. Thankfully, we kept the heat on and there were a lot of bad passes by Watson, including the slight overthrow to a wide-open Cooper.

Hey all I'm saying I had to put up with three months of nonsense by these alleged cowboy fans that we did nothing to improve this team and that we were gonna get Molly walked by this Cleveland team on the road on grass with a great defensive line in the front seven there was no way we would look like this brother man
I will add that what I know of @Kwyn , they've never struck me to be a whiner or "hater" and really think that was a poor attempt at sarcasm, a sarcasm emoji might have helped........ :muttley:
