I 100 percent agree, but why do it during runs up the middle unless you are trying to set up a RPO or option play

Because it keeps the defense guessing. If you only use motion when you’re passing they know you’re passing if you use motion. Also, if it’s man, you could be pulling a LB out of the middle chasing that motioned player.

Read option will never work if you never run with it, Dak.

If they are setting it up to run Dak later in the game, it has its usage into lulling the defense into not spying the QB, but a few of those options, Dak looke like he had a chance to run for big yards. We will see...
