He's not even tying to read the defense, he is just looking for his first read option underneath.

Early last season before we changed it up a little bit, that's what our offense was. And it's schemed that way. If the first read is there, you take it. Get the ball out quickly. WCO. We shifted to essentially making Lamb the first read.
