I think Huggins has a good chance to make the roster ... because we have no real backup DTs. Our only backups on the inside (other than Phillips as a second NT) are end/tackles Golston and Fehoko, and they've been practicing more at end this week than at tackle.

actually Rogers, Mazi, and Now Phillps are NTS Dont sleep on Rogers came from Auburn and SEC team that likes D and DL groups.
I don't think we trade for Phillips if we were satisfied with what we were seeing from Rogers. As you said, they are all three NTs.

Actually, you keep saying this, but Gholston was playing inside last year ,he will move around these are what we call rotational backups and role players that will come in packages also Fehoco is big enough to play inside literally looks too stiff to be an actual FT defensive end, we brought in Lawson for that... I'm sure Mike Zimmer will find different packages for all these guys inside/ outside depending on what they're looking for during a game...
Both Golston and Fehoko have been playing more outside this last week. I think we want them to be run-down ends, particularly to give Lawrence some snaps off so he can be out there on passing downs. I agree that Golston also will get some snaps inside since he has before, but I don't think we want him out there at 3-tech in running situations. Fehoko has not looked good at all on the inside, so he may strictly be a run-down end. We may know more in that regard after tonight.
