That is specifically not the rule. What you are citing ONLY applies to if it the play ruled down by contact, as before even if there was no whistle if the play was ruled down by contact it could not be challenged. However if the whistle blows the play dead it is over, regardless of whether they rule it down by contact or a drop or whatever. Nothing that happens after the whistle blows counts. Specifically for the reason that they do not want players ignoring the whistle.
Again, false.

You can have a clear recovery 10 seconds after the whistle if the ball just sits on the ground.

McCarthy is never going to fix the penalties :banghead::banghead::banghead:
McCarthy is a DEAD COACH WALKING. This team will not save his job, and lord knows HE can't save his job....with his consistent poor clock management, bad challenges, slow offensive starts, penalties, etc.

Dak will be getting another new coach, and a new OC...and some new RBs. They're going to be ALL IN this offseason, watch.

:lmao:

Come on. The first half was going too fast. So they are throwing flags to stretch it out. To get in more commercials.

NFL money making 101

Do not complain about the refs as @MarcusRock will not like it.
