Luka went for 30 ppg, 8 ast, 8 rbs in the series. The lakers have much bigger problems than him. They literally don't have a center. They have no size in the front court. Watch the offseason as they build around him. The lakers didn't make the trade bc they thought they had a shot this year.
No but the intent was to take advantage of Lebron’s career. As of right now they don’t even have a deal for Luka long term. I think we all assume he will sign but he can’t get the Super Max so any team with enough cap space and can bid on his services.

Yeah this is super sus….sagging league ratings and then the biggest market team inexplicably gets a top 3 superstar in the most lopsided trade in history without the star even getting shopped elsewhere. The League wasted no time approving the trade then the Mavs win the draft lottery despite only having 1.8% odds.
Imagine if they had actually gotten market value for Luka in the trade and then adding Flagg. Thats what could have been.
It wouldn’t have looked as good now. AD was the best player they got offered. Future would’ve been bright with picks though if they would’ve been good picks.
