One thing lost in the discussion of this game is that SF isn’t very good. They look like a .500 team and they handled us pretty easily.
Exactly right. This was the game for the Cowboys get right after an embarrassing performance against the Lions. The 49ers, with so many key players out, were still able to out muscle and out hustle the overmatched Cowboys.

I hope Jerry is feeling the shame from the pathetic team he has fielded this year.

Losing has become acceptable and at the end of the game Dallas players all smiles....culture is flawed
another $hitty loss from this team. prescott again screws us when we need him most. garbage defense can not make stops when it needs too. 6-11 season here we come.

This is Dak with the poorest o-line he’s ever had. Almost all of his throws are poor form rushed prayers. This is what he does. With no threat of him running his way out of the pressure, he just lobs meatballs into coverages he has no business throwing into. But, if he didn’t do that, he’d be throwing almost every pass out of bounds. It’s so bad.

If it's possible to win the game with less points than the opponent, I think we accomplished that last night.

Do McCarthy and Zimmer even pay attention to what is going on during the game? Neither one of them seems to have a feel for things.

Zeke ran really hard on their 2nd possession that ended up with a TD, than Cook is out there on the next 2 series and Zeke basically doesn't touch the ball again for 3 drives. How many times does Ferguson have to be tackled for 1 yard before they throw that play out of the playbook?

Kittle was eating Wilson's lunch the entire game on basically the same crossing route but they kept manning him up against him over and over again.

Its even worse because it's not just pass blocking. We are so bad at running that teams can drop into coverage all game long. It's probably our biggest reason for lack of separation, and why we are seeing so many short passes. There is nothing for the offense to lean on at this point. The defense is equally trash, no pass rush, no turn overs, no run stopping. This team has ZERO identity, other than being bad.

Aside from Aubrey there isn't a single unit functioning well on this entire damn team.

Makes me remember the off season when we lost half a dozen role players and ownership didn't bat an eye. We addressed nothing and this is the result. Relying on another half dozen rookies to replace actual contributors was so ridiculously foolish.
