Despite that claim, he still managed much better tackle numbers than McClain did. Although he was actually on the field in order to do it...

Cowboys actually have Ro with 67 solo tackles rather than the 50 nfl.com states.

I wouldn't be shocked if nfl.com didn't mix up some of Ro & Hitch's stats since they have credited Hitch with 67 solo tackles while the Cowboys credit him with 52. Although looking at Sean Lee's numbers nfl.com is shorting him 28 solo tackles.

He's just not cut out for the SAM position, and has better players in front of him at MIKE an WIL. You have to think at some point he pushes McClain if McClain doesn't come into camp ready to play. I'd hope so, at least.

Yet Hitch has managed to start 20 out of 32 games so far in his career. Some at sam.

He's a smart dude, and he's willing. It's just not his best position given his body type.

Linebacker is a position where people get hurt. Or in Dallas, suspended. Hitch is a good player, though. I like him a lot, he's just got some talented guys in front of him who make it tough.
