Dallas Cowboys-Still Americas team?

Even if the Cowboys had 1 single fan they would be America's team as they own the right to it.
I wish the OP we'll in his endeavors and hope this subject matter isn't an example of things to come because it will limit his audience.

Yes, they are still the most profitable and watched teams in the US. Until that changes, no reason to discuss this.

I rue the day that moniker was given to this franchise.
All because of an NFL Films documentary from Steve Sabol.

Hey y'all. Just wanted to let you guys know I am now writing for Fansided. This is my first article for them, and I figured, why not discuss this and get my view across. Hope you guys like it. As always. Criticism is encouraged.

"The answer to this question is a very simple and concise, “yes.” The Dallas Cowboys are “America’s Team.” Was this even up for debate after the countless surveys and data out there to prove this fact? Some would like to argue it. Yes, I am talking to you, Stephen A Smith"

I never understand why people question this. Seriously it's just a nickname and people need to get over it. Has anyone questioned "Steel Curtain" or "The Hogs"? Of course not because it is a nickname.

Yes, but not because of how many fans there are. Because of how many people utterly hate the Cowboys to their inner core.

Cowboys = Yankees

This question comes up all the time. The ridiculousness of this rearing its head every year is the fact Dallas did not name themselves. Fact is someone with NFL Films named them, and he had no ties to the team.

ZZ Top is known as that Little Ol Band from Texas. There are other bands from Texas, but this is their nickname.

I see no need to even answer these jamokes. It is what it is.
