So why is team owner Jerry Jones hinting at a question about Lamb's contractual value?

"He's out there and he's more valuable than anybody else," Jones said on Tuesday. "But that valuable, to have to give up four or five players to have him, you have to get that reconciled. That's what I'm trying to say. It's a lot quicker and easier said than done."

"Give up four or five players?'' What? More Jerry ...

"Whoever has CeeDee, and I hope it's us, they're going to use him," Jones said. "You have to. You just have to get that kind of mileage out of him. ...''

"Whoever has CeeDee''? What? Jerry - YOU HAVE HIM!

Sounds like Jerry has a number in mind for Lamb and won’t go over that number. Buckle up cowboy fans, this offseason could get wild.
This would be truly unbelievable. We shell out contracts for the likes of Terrence Steele, but all pro WR, top 3 in the game today, essentially sole source of offense and nearly 1800 yds isn't worth it.

Every day gets more and more bizarre. Do they hate fans?

Just look at how much older and feeble Jerry looks in this picture compared to the last few years.

Contract talk.

Jerry adores CeeDee just as he has adored every star WR since he took over.

If Jerry could play any position in the NFL, given the ability, he would be a WR. That position personifies Jerry Jones....flamboyant, supreme confidence, big splash plays.....

Just look at Jerry's history when it came to Cowboys WR's. He's given up more 1st round picks to trade for one, paid multimillions to sign and resign them.

Jerry isn't trading Lamb, no way. Lamb was the reason he traded Cooper.

Negotiating through the media again. I haven't been following contact negotiations lately, outside of Lamar Jackson. Is this the new norm?
If the quotes are true, which I find hard to believe, there is never an upside to speak of negotiations in public. There is no advantage to gain. Worse, even though CeeDee and his agent understand it’s a business, potential free agents may be uncomfortable with an owner outspoken about negotiations. There’s 31 other teams. And Jerry, fyi, top wide receivers cost a lot. A whole lot. Ask the Eagles, the Bills, the Dolphins… and CeeDee is better than those three. I hope he never said these things.

This whole notion that the Cowboys want 4 or 5 players instead of 1 elite player is just nonsense.

First of all, it was born when the Cowboys got their behinds handed to them in the Randy Gregory deal. The facts are they screwed up yet again and came up with a ridiculous spin job to try to save face.

They LITERALLY tried to sign Gregory. So much so, DallasCowboys.com announced the signing. It was reported on X, ESPN, Fox, everywhere. Then when Gregory's agent called them out and took that same contract (years and $, not the ridiculous restrictive language that no other teams tries to get away with) to Denver, they tried to say they would prefer to sign 3 guys instead. Again, they literally tried to sign Gregory. They didn't pull the offer to go get three dudes. They lost out on Gregory. Did it work out? Sure. Was it their plan? No friggen way.

Also, where are the 4 for 1 cheaper player signings now? Where are the three cheap DE's to replace Armstrong? How about 3 RB's to replace Pollard? Three cost-efficient O Linemen to replace Tyron Smith at Left Tackle?

It is all just covering for an inept, incapable Front Office.
