I have a feeling that Buehler might get some FB or HB reps...

In a wierd way, that would be pretty cool. :laugh2:

I'd actually like to see that.

Buehler seems incredibly athletic.

It's hard to believe he ran a sub 4.6 40 and did 25 reps as well. He's a pretty big guy to boot.

As a regular Boise State spectator, I am a little surprised Julian Hawkins was picked up by anyone.

He has decent but not outstanding hands and his game speed is pedestrian. He was the 3rd or 4th best WR on their team last year, behind several underclassmen. Never really stood out for anything but picked up the occasional reception in a pass-happy offense.

I guess his size was the attraction, but that's about all he has.

The other BSU WR he was compared to (Nanee) is much more talented and barely sees any offensive reps in San Diego.

Neither Hawkins or Nanee are in the same league talent-wise as their former team-mate, Jeremy Childs, who also signed with SD as an UDFA.

Unless Islander or Bright can play center, both will be practice squad and we keep Proctor. Proctor/Gurode are the only centers we have on the roster. Brewster will take Berger's spot from last year.

With Buelhler all but guaranteed a spot we either go short on secondary or WR compared to last year.

This is the 2nd straight year that Dallas has brought in a Boise State FA WR, correct?

I think that was Jarrard Rabb, finisher of the hook-and-lateral in the Fiesta Bowl a few years back.
