Dallas Cowboys: Will the winning now continue?
https://thelandryhat.com/2017/12/03/dallas-cowboys-winning-continue/

The Dallas Cowboys managed to pull out a much needed win after dropping three straight, but can we expect similar results going forward?
Many would have said Thursday’s game against the Washington Commanders was a must win and, in all reality, it most likely was if the Cowboys want to have any chance of making the postseason. The Cowboys were struggling mightily and looking like a team on the brink of disaster. How would they come out after a week of constant scrutiny and many questioning the future of head coach Jason Garrett?

Fortunately for Garrett, the Cowboys finally resembled a team that many thought they could be when entering this season. There were some good things to take away from the victory against the Commanders, but problems still linger.

One of the biggest highlights in this game was the emergence of rookie cornerback Chidobe Awuzie. The level of play he put on display Thursday is what the Cowboys were expecting when they selected him in the second round of this year’s draft. Reports on Awuzie coming out of the draft were ones of a physical corner with a nose for the ball and one that can high point the ball at point of attack. Those attributes were on display with three pass deflections and physicality displayed in the run game.

Another bright spot for the Cowboys was the re-emergence of the offensive line. A performance like this with 182 rushing yards being rattled off, is what we have come to expect from an offensive line with this much talent and money invested. And since the suspension of star running back Ezekiel Elliott, this type of performance from the running game has been one of the missing pieces in a struggling Cowboys offense. If the Cowboys have any chance still remaining to make the playoffs, this offensive line and the running game will have to carry the offense as Thursday night showed us the difference in this offense when the running game is clicking vs. when it is not...

May not matter, the numbers are working heavily against us and we don't control our own fate.
I suspect we will win some more but miss the playoffs...JG teases Jerry just enough to keep him and give the annual false hope going into next year that "we're only a player or two away", when the fact is that we've been two coaches away for about 8 years.
Harbaugh is lured back into the NFL after resolving to the fact that he's not going to win big at Michigan and may never beat Ohio St. however, we miss out because JG does just enough in this final stretch to keep his job while still disappointing the fan base with his ineptitude and continual outclassed and out-schemed by comparable to slightly inferior teams.

we ll win tomorrow, we might win a few more, but playoffs, doubtful. Its ok if next year we do something but if not, slap the "next years champs" label on us and we have to flame throw the whole FO

So you are saying the Giants are better than the Commanders?

Cowboy fans who have seen many years of Giants vs Cowboys know without a doubt, these teams dont play football, they come for war. This rivalry knows no statistic, history is of no help, and no prediction can guide you. Everything is left outside the battlefield. and if you dont know that a fan has not been paying attention.

Tomorrow.... Let us suckle upon the teet of victory!

I'll expect what I've come to expect. A good chance to beat the bad teams we play, like the New York Giants this week, with losses to the good teams we play, as we saw against the Falcons and Eagles.

If they lose this game against the Giants, they've got real problems.

Given how disappointing the Raiders have been based on expectations going into this season, I'd consider that game a coin flip.

And then I expect losses against the two playoff teams we face in Seattle and Philadelphia.

So if they get the win against Oakland, that puts them at 8-8 for the year.

Based on track record, I don't see why anyone should expect anything different.
