Dallas D needs some love. Best in NFC

You really have that negative thing flowing this season.

Still teed that we didn't draft Mcfadden I guess :D

It's Mendenhall and CJ that I wanted. I knew we didn't have a shot at McFadden.

The offense has been so bad that they have gotten all the attention lately while the Defense keeps climbing up the list of fewest points allowed. They are currently 5th in the NFL and the best in the NFC. If the offense can get a little something back this D is championship caliber finally if it can stay healthy.

The D is really playing great and a big part of it is our Head Coach and the way he established himself (as half HC and half DC).

I am really looking forward what direction JJ will decide to go after this season. I really hope we can keep Wade in his role.

LoL so a crappy peformance against one of the worst offenses in the nFL makes this defense championship caliber? What a joke.

I don't think that they are playing at a championship level either.Defenses playing at a championship level don't allow a 46%(7/15) conversion rate on 3rd down,5 of those 7 conversions were on 3rd and 5 to go or longer. They also allowed Campbell to go 12/12 on 3rd down passing, that's not championship caliber either.

This defense has played well enough to win and is playing at a considerably higher level than the offense at the moment. However I wouldn't consider them an elite unit until they start forcing more turnovers and do a little more work on their 3rd down defense and 2 minute drill.

Ok, fair enough...I just recall you mentioning a trade up for DMC, so I threw out a poke. Gotta love CJ...I was and am a huge fan. Mendy...I guess I thought Barber was enough with that type of runner and Felix would mix just fine. Now in hindsite, obviously CJ or Desean Jackson would have helped a ton....but hindsite doesn't count really.

no way.

The giants whole defense was on the cover of the sporting news preview magazine and touted as the 86 bears.

No way we are better.

I'm sure that was before their secondary was depleted though.

So can I write you down as one of the guys who's written off Felix?

Definitely not...not even close at this point. I really like him actually.

I did back then and still do think CJ would have been a better add than Felix. But I do like Felix...just think CJ is rare. But like I said, hindsite mean very little.

Well it played well IDK they Commanders missed 2 fields goals from a kicker who hasn't missed all season. If he makes one of those we lose. I'm not sure how high you want to hold the defense. They weren't getting it down on third downs like you pointed out either.

LOL , that reminds me of Sean Alexander on the Madden game a few years ago, ended his career:lmao:

Past few years a defense has been dominant for periods, only to disapeer again when our O started producing. Hope it does not happen this year.

I feel our defense has to show a little bit more movement before the snap and not allow plays to come to them. When you watch Pitts or Balt's D, you see attitude before the snap and geniune effort to jam recievers/clog holes during the play.
