Dallas Defense was a Hero but the Offense Not so Much

Dallas defense came to play and the offense looked like it had two Rookies on it. Is it time to revisit the Romo QB issue or stick with the Rookie come thick or thin (lose chance for a Super Bowl)? Back to the defense, this was a great game for them in a losing effort. The defense stock is rising and the offensive stock is falling. Is this good enough for the Cowboys as a learning experience for the Rookies and waiting for next year to go to the Super Bowl?

Just saying!

I see no reason why we aren't still in contention. Dak's good plays far outweigh his bad plays. Some guys just can't wait to put Dak down. Is he not allowed to lose? Dak has bounced back every time and I have no reason to believe he won't do it again. This guy is a rookie and I think people forgets that. We beat some very good teams the past couple months and even won in playoff atmosphere. Tampa Bay and Detroit will play us tough just like the Giants did. All 3 of those teams are needing to win to make the playoffs while we already have cinched. That being said we need to lock up home field advantage and by losing tonight we will get refocused and ready for this run.

Not putting Dak down as he has done a great job this year for a Rookie. But he is a Rookie and the other teams have a plan for him based on what he has shown this year. The coaching staff has tried to give him plays that are in his skill set this year, but Dak needs an off season to learn new skill sets for the NFL. The rest of this season is on the coaching staff to change the offense to make it not so easy for other teams to scheme for.:)

We need not wait to the offseason. Why can't Linehan make adjustments in the game. Teams are stacking the box, then go screen and use slants and short routes. We run the same plays over and over and teams know how to defend us. Dak can make the reads and the throws, for instance the only play we ran that was never used went for a TD. Was beautiful. Can't use the same game plan and then abandoned the run. Linehan needs to help our rookie instead of making it hard on him. It's good he sees this now and get it on tape before the playoffs

!

Giants offense struggles = Dallas defense came to play!

Cowboys offense struggles = Cowboys rookies stunk and should be benched.

Then again, maybe the Giants defense "came to play", too?

So if we don't go to Romo we lose a chance for a Super Bowl? I guess I've missed all of his playoff dominance over the years. I love Tony, but there's no guarantee at 36 and missing most of the last two seasons to injury that he's even the same player he was in his prime. The coaches see him all week. He's still not starting. Why?

Not talking enough about this defense. I'm hoping they will build off this performance

That is a very good question!! Jerry has said that Romo will be there for a Supper Bowl run. If he watched last nights game he needs to make good on his promise. Just for argument sake the talking heads see this as well and admit that Dallas's best QB is sitting on the bench.
