@bkight13 Nice format, thanks for posting this.
Looks pretty evident to me that the game plan barring injury on the DL is to replace DE/LB Elliott with Demontre Moore after two games and DT Price with DT Irving after 4 games.
I don't like having only 8 OL especially with Chaz Green injury concerns.
If Crawford can't go on Sunday night, DT depth is a concern. Need Paea and Collins to stay healthy and I worry about them getting worn down in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Need the offense to grind out drives and keep the defense off the field.
I still think it would have been best for the team to put Hitchens on IR-designated to return. I would hate to see Rico on IR-designated to return. But if he really can't play for 6 weeks or so, he has to go to IR-designated to return because the Cowboys need the depth..
Certain things I just can't understand in the NFL. One is the weed policy. The other is the 53-man roster and the 45-man active roster on game day. I think it should be 53 plus 3 (K, LS, and P are exemptions to the roster). And all players on the roster should be active on game days. It just makes too much sense especially with all the concussion and injury worry. Yeah, you may have an advantage to one team who has all players healthy vs a team with 5 injuries (53 healthy bodies vs 48 healthy bodies). But, that is the way the cookie crumbles. Injuries affect the game in so many ways. The more players active the better the competition is and the safer the game is for the players. Teams are just spread too thin on game day and it causes a lot of players to play hurt since no one else is available.
