This is true. I was in NYC during the draft a few years back and was walking in front of Radio City, they were literally asking people on the sidewalk to come in to watch. Of course this was day 3 I believe so there were no lines, etc. I went in for a while and had the distinct honor of witnessing the selection of Kyle Wilber.

Does this mean you just missed the Matt Johnson selection earlier in the round?

Lesson learned there. Get there early.

Coulda had Marino.
Love the reaction when they took Jeff Lageman.
Had four first round picks one year and still couldn't get to the Super Bowl.
Teams don't even want that many first round picks with the cash you have to fork over

Expected news, but good news nonetheless. I think the Cowboys' facilities are among the best, if not the best in the entire league. Much more so than the dump where this year's draft is being held.

I'm pretty sure after the dumpster fire that is going to be the 2017 draft in Philly...the NFL is gonna want to make it to the fans by doing it with some class. Pressure is on Jerry to come through w/ the spread.:p

I wanted to celebrate a bit this year and make it to my first draft, in person...the philly thing killed it though. This could be very good news especially since I need to make some dough, weddings and trips to Italy tend to empty your bank account, lol

Schefter's on Philly radio right now and said Philadelphia is in the mix for the 2018 draft too.

Puke Philly Host Anthony Gargano: Why would they want to take the draft to some scrub Texas suburb when they can keep it downtown at a major city?

Honestly that's what I was thinking - Philly fans may suck but that's a cool city. Hosting it in Frisco feels like hosting it in a random shopping mall.

If the 2018 draft is at the Star in Frisco, I'm there. Who's in? Let's have a CZ powwow when we get there.

I bet at some point Dallas will be rejected because we don't want men going into girls restrooms.
Why would anyone want men going into girls restroom? There are two genders. That's it.

If you were being sarcastic, disregard.

No kidding. Frisco is overrated **. I like the city, don't get me wrong, but to host a national type event in a city with not much to do is kind of dumb, imo.
