Schefter's on Philly radio right now and said Philadelphia is in the mix for the 2018 draft too.

Puke Philly Host Anthony Gargano: Why would they want to take the draft to some scrub Texas suburb when they can keep it downtown at a major city?
Honestly, I have to agree. They couldn't put this in downtown Fort Worth or downtown Dallas? Frisco? Meh.

Whoa nice. I have a buddy who might want to go to this.

How much do these things usually cost? I'm sure the JerryWorld markup will be in full effect

I believe it will be free. And the food and drinks will most likely be the same normal prices...like it was in NY, Chicago, and now Philly....no mark ups.....ALL places are high....not just JJ.
Could be set by the NFL, since they are the controlling factor, as in all the SB's, they control everything. The teams don't have a say so.

If they are going to move the draft around (which of course they have) Dallas is an obvious choice, most popular team and in a state that produces a ton of NFL talent, bout time....Tired of seeing lame Jets fans overly represented at the NY draft when they have a small fan base compared to others teams...Pittsburgh has probably "earned" a draft too

I think the draft in Philly is to be held outdoors....I am sure they have a contingency plan, but I hope it's a storm all 3 days there....and Goodell and Mara get drenched...you know, it will be like old times for them, as if they were in the shower together....:muttley:

We should just grab a bunch of zoners and get a group rate. LOL

Expected news, but good news nonetheless. I think the Cowboys' facilities are among the best, if not the best in the entire league. Much more so than the dump where this year's draft is being held.

That dump where Risen the fan boy is the cheerleader for his QB.

This is true. I was in NYC during the draft a few years back and was walking in front of Radio City, they were literally asking people on the sidewalk to come in to watch. Of course this was day 3 I believe so there were no lines, etc. I went in for a while and had the distinct honor of witnessing the selection of Kyle Wilber.
Wow, I'm sure you'll never forget that moment.

I believe it's a cool 40 right now to take the tour so most likely over a C Note.
It's $40 to tour that thing? Jesus. My boy works there, so I got a tour for free when nobody was there one Saturday. I had to help Emory (the bus driver) load up the bus with a bunch bags. That place is cool, but no way in hell would I spend $40 to walk around it.

Once the NFL gets a taste of it's draft being hosting at the Star in Frisco, it might become it's permanent home. :flagwave:

Ha, I almost forget the Jets are a franchise until draft day, when they always screw up a top ten selection

My bad 35.00 not sure if the have different levels for tours. Awesome your boy works there!
Each VIP tour lasts a little over an hour and costs about $35 including fees.

Will be sweet seeing the new Draft room this year, can't wait.

It's real nice in person. Cool technology in the room with a video wall that can be partitioned or easily changed to show all different types of rankings, clip reels, etc.

Eh. I guess that's not too bad, since it's VIP. I'm just like, "I've drank a root beer out of the coaches' packed fridge", so I wouldn't pay. Lol
