Dallas Game Plan

In my opinion, the Cowboys are going to maul the Vikings, both on offense and defense. Not just because Dak is not playing, but due to their team disposition. They have something to prove to themselves.

Moore, is not just a whippersnapper with a play book. Collins, is angry and wants to hit anything that moves. The defense, as a whole, wants to impose their will against a hard running team, with a good passing game.

The Vikings, may be in for a big surprise come Sunday night. The crowd noise, may work against them. The big stage is where the Dallas Cowboys shine the brightest.

In evenly matched games, they are won and lost in the trenches. La'el Collins in that LG position is a big deal. The Vikes D should be preparing to have some smash-mouth football shoved down their throats. Mike Zimmer knows this kind of song and dance well. He also knows there is little he can do about it when the goods on that Cowboys O-line are legit. Kellen Moore will wield Thor's hammer in the form of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard all the way to victory.

I've only seen them play the Panthers, but I don't think their run D is very good. Whether we have Dak or Rush, our recievers will have an impact. Their D should be nervous because we're pretty good at both running & throwing the ball.

I personnally still think Dak is playing, but he'll obviously be less than 100%.

It's worth mentioning that overall Kirk's record against the Boys stands at 2-7. He is who he is. I'm a little surprised the "gut feeling" of our writers is the Vikings will win with our without #4 behind center. I believe our D will keep us close enough in this game for us to pull it out in the end. Cousins doesn't scare me as much as Zimmer does. Can MM coach us into another road victory?

Collins won’t even play. And where is the game plan?
well given they are ranked near the bottom of run defense in every category and we are at the top id say the GP is run a lot and use carefully calculated pass game IF rush is the qb..just a bus driver , safe passes, dont do anything to screw it up game plan..

we used similar game plan last season against MN with dalton and bunch of spares and won..

a mauling, maybe not, but its not out of the realm of possibility's we can win with rush..we have a far different team then in years past when backups meant an auto loss..

the team is playing well we are relaively healthy and the OL, run game, receiving threats, coaching, and opportunistic defense says we can play a game designed around a run game and let Rush just do enough to help out.,.

why not? not having dak/romo is no longer a death sentence this season right now and rush has had two weeks to study and porepare..so the game will be tougher, closer, slower and uglier but still i say the team in good place to survive a game without dak..and win..

how many times have the Cowboys been beat by a jag backup, too many to count..so i know we aren't used to it and its an uncomfortable feeling but i believe we can win without dak Sunday night..

I rather not find out but for the greater good if daks not 90%+ healthy, i save him for one more game and make sure hes better for the last 9 vs this one game..in the grand scheme of things it makes more sense..

If Dak doesnt play then Pollard and Schutz will be key players for us to win on the offense. Will need special teams and defense to come up big.

no the team will be key the coaching will be key..pollard and shultz have been part of the plan all year and they wont be needed more just the same.

KISS- Keep it simple stupid(to our coaches and players)

the team simply needs to play like they all year even without dak the rest of them just play the game the way you would with dak that way Rush has a fair shot..no letdowns no trying to do too much , just do your jobs and take it to MN..

I believe Pollard will play a big part on hitting the corners and outside plays, and inside traps.

I think we can run on them if we show we can pass on them
If rush is the QB they will stack the line and force rush to beat them with his arm

Dallas, is trotting out a different team than the past. Minnesota, has not met this team. This is not the Garrett Greeters; these are the McCarthy Marauders.

What do you mean by, "Collins won't even play?" Each week there is a game plan.
Your headline insinuates you are going to talk about the Dallas game plan for this game.

The Big Stage isn't a game plan and they haven't picked that as a time to shine in the past because the Big Stage is the playoffs.

So far, Dallas has been on one Big Stage, in Tampa, and they're 0-1 in Big Stage games. CAR light have been at the time but that is no longer a Big Stage game.

I like your optimism but just because this is the prime time game doesn't mean Dallas wins it.
