Dallas Game Plan

Your headline insinuates you are going to talk about the Dallas game plan for this game.

The Big Stage isn't a game plan and they haven't picked that as a time to shine in the past because the Big Stage is the playoffs.

So far, Dallas has been on one Big Stage, in Tampa, and they're 0-1 in Big Stage games. CAR light have been at the time but that is no longer a Big Stage game.

I like your optimism but just because this is the prime time game doesn't mean Dallas wins it.
BUT it did open the conversation of a game plan and some of us added our hypothetical GP we think the Dakless team might deploy..

although its pretty obvious to the plan that will be used with or without dak to team in MN that is near last in every run defense category..with dak and easier way to accomplish it, without is tougher but not much different then a GP they were hoping to use..
.
creative run game where both pollard and zeke get over 100 each as weve seen in the past with easier pass routes to help rush..our OL and weapons on offense can help Rush succeed should he be forced to start.

If KM calls the game like Dak is back there, we’re doomed.
why would he?

Besides 3 of the 6 wins were very run heavy offense that set up the pass and won TOP by mile..why call it much differently , only thing different would be the plays themselves with more friendly and quicker short receiver routes.

should be heavy dose of the run game and many screens all 3 types WR, RB , and TE to keep an aggressive defnse out on the edges away from the qb and then have a lot of hot routes short passes..

weve seen this few times this year and its worked well even with dak not having to pass a lot so i can see Rush playing it safe not messing it up and let the team make it a success..

I believe 2 of the games this year where we did this dak had under 200yrads passing

so i think rush can handle this for one game here or there with healthy OL and pollard and zeke plays well..especially with fresh legs coming a off bye. 2 weeks to implement the plan..

Well i got to figure if Rush is in the Vikings know the run is comming......Be as great as you can but running the ball on constent 8 man box will not work....Rush will have to challenge the outside for the run to work. If Rush is playing lets hope the WR gives him easy targets from 1v1 matchups...contrary to every one says, Rush is an NFL QB and can hit open recievers so lets just hope he can recognise a blitz, as that will be the bigger issue.

Run the damn ball. Vikings defense is giving up 4.8 ypc. Needs to be a run heavy game
That was not against teams missing a top 10 QB. Zimmer knows exactly what Moore and McC want to do.

The question I have is are the Cowboys going to play that "take what the defense gives them" crap or are they going to assert their will and rely on their OL and RB's and blocking WRs? Every body is a blocker in this game, including the QB.

He's watched him since he's been a Cowboy and with the 1st team all this week, why would he call plays that aren't his best ones?

Right...KM probably had a pretty big voice in who the backup was and he chose Rush, he will put him in good plays, lets just hope Rush can get a grasp of what the defense is trying to do to him....as I said he can hit open WR. The big challenege will be him reading the D and who the play should go to.

Thinking too much. This was written to divert from the heavy deep thinking permeating the forum. Prime time, is the big stage each week. This game will have its lion share of television draw in its time slot.

I believe Kellen is smart enough to plan towards the strength of the players that are suiting up. He knows Cooper's highs and lows.

If Dak can't play it will be run the ball.
umm weve been ruining the ball heavy even with dak whats the point..we are having big success in run offense(top 3 inthe league) and many games were run heavy so far..this team cant stop the run( nearly last in run defense) meaning they are TB and we won't need to throw with or without dak..

3 games this year 2 at least DaK WAS UNDER 200YARDS BY PLAN..

What do you mean by, "Collins won't even play?" Each week there is a game plan.

What do you mean , what do I mean? Collins isn’t playing this week. What have you heard that would suggest he’s playing? He’s been a backup all week at practice
