What's wrong with LVE? Don't get me wrong, I would prefer Wagner in a heartbeat, but if he gets a big payday somewhere else, which is likely, I would be happy to have LVE back.

Wagner earned 6.5 million last year. That's with SB and guaranteed 2023 bonuses. Any deal he signs will look huge but will really boil down to a two-year deal. I know people on this board have a hard time understanding contracts but he's not getting a deal that locks us into long-term money. His 2nd team All Pro was not on reputation. The Rams even named him their defensive MVP. Dude is a hall of fame player who is still playing at a very high level.

BTW - if we hadn't traded up for Mo Clairborne, we would have taken Michael Brockers and Bobby Wagner with the traded picks. That would have been some draft.
