Dallas is only a 7 point favorite at Cleveland

This is absolutely a game we should win, but by no means is it going to be easy. Cleveland has been very close in several ganes and they view this one as their golden opportunity. Our entire team better bring their A game.

Need a big game from Zeke!

No surprise. Not many teams would be expected to win a repeat performance of Dallas' Sunday night effort. We gritted it out though.

I think 10 points, 7+3 HFA is fair.

Dallas took a step back this last week and Cleveland is playing with literally nothing to lose.

I'm sure that Browns team can sneak up on any team that mails it in thinking it's an extra bye week....

Didn't their QB last week throw for 300 yards??

We've covered every single spread this year.. Public is backing Dallas at 70%+ and line has not moved in our favor. This game screams Browns cover. I'm fine with it, just get out healthy with a W.

"Only"

Do you know how uncommon it is for teams to be favored by more than a TD on the road? By closing, you might see 1, occasionally 2 games a week go over a TD and let alone to a road team. 7 points is a massive favorite on the road. Even the Patriots at Cleveland was only 10.5 and thats about as large as you will see during an entire season.

Nah, I just checked out some of their forums like barkinghard :lmao:. Their fan base feels like the team has no chance against us. Most are thinking double digit losses. Nobody thinks this is their golden opportunity. They are all pretty much depressed in their forums.

I actually got depressed reading their depressed comments. So I had to leave quick. Slice like a ninja, cut like a razor blade....so fast

I'm glad the Indians lost. Had they won, the energy in the stadium may have translated to the team.

You know this how?

I would think the battle of Ohio or other division game (especially the Ravens) would mean much more than facing a NFC team even the Dallas Cowboys.
I live near Cleveland. Their most hated rival by far is the Steelers. They don't like the Ravens because of Modell taking the old Browns team to Baltimore, but the hatred for the Steelers runs deeper.

Remember that the Browns led by QB Brandon Weeden took the Cowboys to OT in the last meeeting between the 2 teams. No game is certain in the NFL. I hope this isn't the Browns week for everything to all of a sudden go their way.
I do expect a crowd of over 50% Cowboy fans at the game though, so it should be fun.

I don't think Cleveland views this as a golden opportunity, but I do think the potential for a let down is there. Huge emotional wins can sometimes be draining, and with the growing QB controversy, I'd be shocked if the team wasn't distracted at least some.
